Wolfpack quarterback [b783aabf]Lane Manuel[/b783aabf] passed for 500 yards, which tied the league record that was originally set by [b783aabf]Rodney Darr[/b783aabf] of Chicago in 2003. Manuel also tied the league record for touchdown passes in a game with 5. It was the 10th time in league history that a quarterback threw 5 TD passes in the same game. While Denver failed to stay undefeated, five different teams did improve to 3-0: Boise, Charleston, Durham, Hartford, and Long Beach. Meanwhile, Memphis, Shreveport, Chicago, and Oregon fell to 0-3. The most exciting finish of the week happened in Santa Cruz (1-2), where Honolulu's [b783aabf]Ronnie Tu[/b783aabf] threw a 35 yard TD pass to [b783aabf]Efren Herold[/b783aabf] on the final play of regulation to send the game into overtime. Honolulu (1-2) won the game in the extra period on a 3 yard TD run by [b783aabf]Colin Sonkin[/b783aabf]. Interesting stats after week 3: Denver QB [b783aabf]Marcus Garibaldi[/b783aabf] leads the CFL in passer rating with 120.9. He has completed 72.5% of his passes for 716 yards, 7 TDs, and 0 INTs. After throwing 7 INTs all of last season, Albany QB [b783aabf]Rocky McFarland[/b783aabf] has already thrown 8 in the first three games. After going 25 straight games without a touchdown reception, Tulsa WR [b783aabf]Charles Lindberg[/b783aabf] has caught at least one touchdown pass in all three games this year. Fargo RB [b783aabf]Elias Alvey[/b783aabf] has fumbled the ball 7 times this season. The next highest fumble total for a single player is 3. The Boston Panthers (2-1) are averaging 204 rushing yards per game while the Oregon Ice (0-3) only average 47 rushing yards per game. The Las Vegas Rounders (2-1) are allowing less than 5 yards per pass attempt. The league average is nearly 7 yards per attempt. The Cleveland Flats (1-2) have only forced two turnovers all season and have a league worst -8 turnover margin. Honolulu QB Ronnie Tu has now become the first CFL quarterback to throw for over 20,000 yards in his career. |

Slight correction: Randolph Kranz became the first CFL quarterback to cross the 20,000 yard barrier in week 1 this season. Tu was second having gone over 20,000 in week 3. |
