In the first half it looked like we had complete control of this game, but in the second half we just fell apart...

Roman Grigg is 2-0 in starts for Shreveport and now we're only 1 game out of first place . . . Here come the Pride!

I still don't get how the game determines MVP. SS Horace Shuck had 3 INT's, one returned for a TD and couldn't beat out my backup QB, who had an average day with 1 TD and 1 INT . . .

We finally win one. But it was against Chicago, so... it just helps to worsen our draft spot.

Starting NT Willie Meyers, Torn Patellar Tendon, out for 47 weeks (and takes a hefty chuck of cap with him).

Un-frickin-believable.

*sigh*

I thought we had a good gameplan against Charleston, despite playing it conservative and keeping Hogan on the bench. Alas. Good game, Charleston!

One thing worked out in my favor, though: both Honolulu and Las Vegas lost this weekend.

Dola-

Here's one thing that I [id8af9ad]hate[/id8af9ad] about this game: the coach seems to ignore the game plan. In my last game against Charleston I set us up to run heavily to the right. What did the coach do?

[coded8af9ad] Tucson Rushing Breakdown

Direction Rush Yards Ave
Left 5 18 3.6
Middle 16 95 5.9
Right 8 0 0.0
None 0 0 0.0
[/coded8af9ad]

What? Nevermind that my stud RT fell flat on his face by going a grand 0 for 7 on KRBs (the fucker), this play selection bears absolutely no resemblance to the game plan. Goddammit. :smt013

What a nailbiter vs Honolulu - Barbieri led the team on an 80-yd drive to get the winning score with 30 seconds left. Then Umphenour intercepted a Ronnie Tu pass to seal off the win.

DE Billy Hopper is really playing well at the moment - today he had 3 sacks, 2 hurries and 2 passes blocked, making it 6.5 sacks and 7 hurries in the last two games! :D Go Billy go!

I'm also celebrating the fact that for the first time this season I have a winning record. 7-6, baby!

Your situation is getting to be comically preposterous. I'm very, very sorry, flere.

Thanks for that, 3ric! To express the gratitude of the Toros organization we will be sending you a delectable fruit basket.

Butch Fulton just set a personal best, and team best record with 224 yards rushing this week. He averaged 7.0 per carry! This was the 5th most single game yards in CFL history (Alex Rounds holds the record at 248). Some more stats on Fulton- Right now he is in 6th place in the league for receptions with 61, but he is only getting 6.1 yards a catch..

Wow. We pulled out a win against Detroit after losses to Chicago and Arizona. The start of the game we looked like a Pop Warner team but somehow only trailed by 3. QB Clarence Lincoln played a nice game going 22 of 31 for 270 yards with 2 TDs and 1 INT. LB Tyrone Govan came up big for the defense this week.

Final score of 23-6 but the last touchdown was a gimmie after Detroit went for it on 4th down on their own 4 and failed. I am really pissed that my best player (S Justin Luck) was still on the field for the final seconds and is hobbled for the next 3 weeks with a Strained Rotator Cuff. As I was reading the box game log, I thought to myself... get the backups in. Only to see "Justin Luck injured on the play".

I did not think we had much of a chancge against Denver. My team wins when:

1) We establish a running game to melt the clock
2) We avoid turnovers. Hoffman had three picks. We just can not do that.

What a game, I always had a feeling that it was going to change for your favor. I mean, my Backup Qb was throwing picks and not making any plays early in the game but once he got going everything took off from there.

Again great game Fonzie..

One week after I defeat Hartford, I fall flat on my face in HB...

The Caps had an outstanding pass defense (14 passes defended!) or else Mathias a horrible day...
Basically, nothing went right.

And I lost my best guard for the season... :(

Congrats Castlerock!

I think I should have clinched as well. The worst that can happen is Hartford and New York are tied with an 11-5 record, and Hartford swept New York.

We set a franchise record for points scored last week with 41 against Fargo and broke it this week with 44 against Atlantic City. Atlantic City turned it over 4 times, giving us the ball inside their 30 all 4 times, and that was pretty much the ball game.

We did do a good job of running out the clock with a 14 play touchdown drive that took 6:54 in the 3rd and then a 15 play touchdown drive that took 8:38 in the 4th.
C.J. Washington had his first 100 yard game.

You, Sir, are correct.
Even though the game doesn't show it, you've clinched your division as well! Congrats to you too!

You can still lose the division to Durham if they win the rest of their games.

If Albany, Detroit, and New York all win out, Charleston, Albany, and New York will be in a three way tie for the two wild card spots. You are guaranteed to have the best conference record, and thus should have clinched a playoff birth at this point.

However, there is a bug in the game involving tie breakers for the wild card spots, so just win one more game to secure the division and a bye. The bug was found last season in the HFL.

Well, it was a fun playoff run while it lasted. With Tom Sonkin out for the next seven weeks Dustin Hayes has nobody to throw the ball to, except for the other team... :(
