<img src="http://www.thecfl.net/images/pressman/duncan.jpg" width="260" height="216" alt="Arthur Duncan" title="Arthur Duncan" align="right">The Tampa Bay Torpedoes (3-11) held a 7-3 lead over the Charleston Monitors (12-2), and rookie QB Nolan Shannon had his team in Monitor territory with less than 7 minutes left in the game. 10 seconds later the Charleston crowd was going crazy as safety Arthur Duncan picked off Shannon's throw and took it 77 yards the other way. Final score: Charleston 10, Tampa Bay 7 In Seattle, Anchorage QB Lane Manuel threw for 437 yards. On the final play of the game he connected with WR Jeffrey Alonzo, but Alonzo was taken down at the 5 yard line by Seattle LB K.C. Glode. Final score: Seattle 27, Anchorage 20 Arizona (3-11) had an upset in their grasps when they took a 24-14 lead early in the 4th quarter in Las Vegas (8-6). But Lenny "Jackpot" Olsen never gave up, leading two scoring drives to send the game into OT, and then winning it in the extra period on a 19 yard TD pass to RB Craig Greene. Final score: Las Vegas 30, Arizona 24 The Atlantic City Phantoms (5-9) traveled up to Hartford and beat the Attack (11-3) for the 2nd time this season. The Hartford offense was held to only 220 yards, while Hartford punter Harper punted for 413 yards. Final score: Atlantic City 13, Hartford 3 For the second straight week the Durham Bulldogs (9-5) held their opponent to only 3 points. This time the victim was Baltimore (7-7) who only managed 222 yards of offense. Final score: Durham 27, Baltimore 3 The Albany Crows (9-5) defense scored a touchdown in the first quarter, and that was enough to defeat the Chicago Hitmen (2-12) who only managed 151 yards - 104 of them by Arthur Brady. Final score: Albany 13, Chicago 0 In Detroit, the Vampires (8-6) took a 20-16 lead with 2:02 on the clock. Cleveland QB Ernest Lorenzo completed a 9 yard pass on 4th-and-5 to keep the Flats (5-9) alive, and then ran the two minute drill to perfection, completing his next 5 passes resulting in a touchdown. Final score: Cleveland 23, Detroit 20 The day couldn't have gone any better for Tucson, or any worse for Honolulu. The Toros (9-5) made their plays count and pulled away with a huge win, and their first sweep of the Blue Pacific (9-5). Final score: Tucson 38, Honolulu 6 In a game that featured 72 rushes and 32 passes, the Sacramento Dragons (7-7) were victorious over the Long Beach Calibri (7-7). Dragon RB Alexis Rounds carried the ball 39 times for 122 yards and was named Game MVP. Final score: Sacramento 13, Long Beach 6 Finally, Tulsa RB Butch Fulton had 185 total yards and scored three times against El Paso. Final score: Tulsa 27, El Paso 17 The other final scores: Boise 24, Oregon 20 New York 17, Boston 10 Denver 23, Fargo 19 Memphis 14, San Antonio 13 New Orleans 30, Shreveport 6 Santa Cruz 20, Huntington Beach 17 |

Who's this "Jackpot" guy?! I heart Jackpot. I wasn't able to see the game when I downloaded the latest league file. How do I get the game logs from last week? |
