I'm not 100% confident that I've got everything covered, but here goes: [ba038366]Tucson needs a win over Las Vegas.[/ba038366] This would obviously be the easiest option. If Tucson loses, they are out. [ba038366] Anchorage needs a win over Oregon and a Tucson loss to Las Vegas.[/ba038366] Because of their conference record, Anchorage is in the best spot if Tucson loses to Vegas. In that scenario, regardless of what anyone else does, it'd come down to them and Vegas with identical conference records, and the Wolfpack beat the Rounders on the record vs. common opponents tiebreaker (4-1 vs. 2-3). [ba038366]El Paso needs a win over Denver and a Tucson loss to Las Vegas and an Anchorage loss to Oregon.[/ba038366] In this scenario, Vegas would be eliminated because they've lost to El Paso and Sacramento. El Paso edges Sacramento on common opponents 3-2 to 2-3. [ba038366]Las Vegas needs a win over Tucson and an Anchorage loss to Oregon and an El Paso loss to Denver and a Sacramento loss to Huntington Beach or a Fargo win over Tulsa or a Long Beach loss to Santa Cruz[/ba038366] This is where it gets more complicated. If it came down to just Sacramento vs. Vegas, they'd be out on the head to head tiebreaker. So Vegas needs it to come down to a 3 way tie so they can get in on their better conference record. Also they beat Fargo in head to head. [ba038366]There is no scenario where Fargo can make the playoffs.[/ba038366] In the event that Long Beach wins this week and still loses the division to Sacramento on the strength of victory tiebreaker (it'll be close), it would alter things somewhat. Anchorage's situation would be the same, but El Paso would be eliminated as Vegas would win the three way tiebreaker on their conference record. |

Maybe it would have been easier if I actually game-planned my loss to Baltimore. I haven't reviewed the game in detail but the score indicates it was winnable. I picked a heck of a time to go on vacation, as I experienced significant impacts to my CFL and fantasy squads. Oh well, at least vacation was good... |

[quotedc88320="MrBug708"]Im in for sure then?[/quotedc88320] Yep. If you win, you win the division. If you lose and Tucson loses, you win the division, and if you lose and Tucson wins, Tucson wins the division, but you would get in on the wild card. |
