2. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet02.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]New Orleans Raging Horde[/b4a1fdd6] (8-2) - QB Randolph Kranz has already matched his career high of 25 TD passes. He has thrown at least one in every game this year and has thrown 5 TDs in a game twice (both against San Antonio).
3. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet14.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Baltimore Bombers[/b4a1fdd6] (7-2-1) - Another explosive passing team led by veteran QB Philip Barbieri who has returned from last year's injury and hasn't lost a step. Barbieri does a good job of spreading the ball around to different receivers. Five players have at least 35 receptions but none has more than 42.
4. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet31.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Detroit Vampires[/b4a1fdd6] (7-3) - The offense has struggled the past three games, only scoring a total of 31 points while losing division games to Cleveland and Albany. If the season ended today all three of these Great Lakes division teams would be in the playoffs.
5. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet28.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Cleveland Flats[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - The Flats are a completely new team from last year. They have the best defense in stopping 3rd down conversions: 29.8%. They only have 1 rushing touchdown this season but QB Ernest Lorenzo has 20 TD passes.
6. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet12.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Albany Crows[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - Started out 0-2 but has quietly gone 6-2 to get back into the playoff picture. They have to go on a 4 game road trip before heading back home for the season's final 2 games. RB Rob West is having a breakout season and is 3rd in the CFL in rushing touchdowns (9).

7. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet03.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Durham Bulldogs[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - The Bulldogs have not consistently stopped the pass this year, and that hurts their chances against the top teams in this league. WR Michael Browning has not had the numbers that many expected him to have: he only has 1 TD this year.
8. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet19.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Charleston Monitors[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - Charleston leads the league in forcing turnovers (24) and turnover margin (+13). However, three of their losses have been division losses, including two to Durham which means they lose that tie-breaker.
9. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet20.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]New York Knights[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - New York had their 5 game winning streak snapped by Hartford in week 11 when QB Kim Pace had an interception returned for a touchdown in the games final seconds. They have a difficult schedule ahead with games against Durham, Sacramento, Hartford, and Santa Cruz.

1. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet26.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Honolulu Blue Pacific[/b4a1fdd6] (9-1) - The defending champs are coasting into the playoffs this year. Ronnie Tu leads the league in passer rating (102.4) and has only thrown 4 INTs all year. The Blue Pacific offense converts 49% of its 3rd down conversion attempts, the best percentage in the CFL.
2. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet10.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Sacramento Dragons[/b4a1fdd6] (8-2) - RB Alexis Rounds is averaging 30 carries per game for 138 yards and is an early pick for league MVP. They are the only team to defeat Honolulu this year.
3. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet17.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Anchorage Wolfpack[/b4a1fdd6] (7-3) - QB Lane Manuel has thrown for over 300 yards in 6 out of his 9 starts, including 2 games with over 400 yards passing. After throwing 5 INTs in his first 3 games, he only has 3 INTs in his last 6 games. His favorite target is Kelley McCaleb who already has 1,261 receiving yards (CFL record is 1,693) and 13 TDs (breaks the previous CFL record of 12).
4. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet29.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Denver Dynomite[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - Winners of 5 out of their last 6, Denver now has a 2 game lead over Tulsa in the Cavalry division. Former 1st round pick Marcus Garibaldi is still improving and could be a starter for a long time.
5. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet05.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Santa Cruz[/b4a1fdd6] (7-3) - Santa Cruz has allowed the least points of any team this year. The main reason is safeties David Pitman and David Visser who have 13 interceptions between them.
6. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet25.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Tucson Toros[/b4a1fdd6] (6-4) - After a solid 4-0 start, the Toros lost 3 straight and barely pulled out a victory last week against lowly Arizona. Drew Holliday's yards/carry is down about 1/2 yard from last season, but he's still performing well with 839 rushing yards (7th in the league).
--------------------------------------------------
7. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet27.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Seattle Thunderbirds[/b4a1fdd6] (5-5) - Seattle is 4-0 at home but 1-5 on the road. They've got two challenging home games in the next two weeks: Detroit and then Santa Cruz. They need to win at least one of those two games to stay in the playoff hunt.
8. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet04.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Oregon Ice[/b4a1fdd6] (5-5) - This is an exciting team to watch. QB Thomas Kuhn likes to air it out, throwing often for superstar WR Matt Brunner, but also getting intercepted a lot (22 picks, most in the league). The need to throw because their rushing offense is last in the league in yards/carry (3.26).
9. <img src="
http://www.thecfl.net/cfl/helmet09.jpg" width="35" height="35"> [b4a1fdd6]Huntington Beach Capitalists[/b4a1fdd6] (5-5) - A 4-1 start was quickly forgotten when they only scored 23 points in 4 games (all losses). Safety Justin Luck is having another big year with 3 INTs. He is now 3rd in CFL history with 25 interceptions. Only Craig Jiles (Long Beach) and Michael Dustin (Detroit) have more (26).
