This could be a huge game not just for the division, but for down the road in potential home game scenarios for the conference.
My team has absolutely been on fire, but there is some smoke an mirrors involved. As you can see by the rankings Smitty put up there, we're not overpowering in any one area. But we are 3rd in the league in turnover margin and 3rd in the league in points allowed. Against a team like Charleston who has completely owned us, we will need to hope for more than just a few lucky breaks.
I'm particularly interested to see how my RB Vinny McKnight does. For reasons unexplainable to me, he has blown up this year. Look at his career stats:
2006 - 217 carries, 751 yards, 3.46 avg, Long of 35
2007 - 48 carries, 175 yards, 3.64 avg, Long of 17
2008 - 232 carries, 878 yards, 3.78 avg, Long of 49
2009 - 264 carries, 964 yards, 3.64 avg, Long of 28
[be9efe50]2010 - 92 carries, 517 yards, 5.61 avg, Long of 74 amd 65[/be9efe50]
I'm curious to see if he gets a ratings boom next off-season, because he has had no significant change in ratings thus far.
A win here would put us in a good spot early on with a 2 game lead in the division. A loss and we're tied with Charleston and potentially other teams right on our tails.
