The Monitors have been one of the most successful teams in CFL history, winning more regular season games (87) than any other team and winning two CFL titles (<a href="http://www.thecfl.net/2004.html">2004</a>, <a href="http://www.thecfl.net/2008.html">2008</a>). Meanwhile, the Torpedoes made their only playoff appearance in 2004 and were knocked out in the Eastern Conference Championship Game by none other than the Charleston "Sixpacks" when Charleston kicked two FGs in the final 20 seconds for a 19-16 victory.
