Boise entered the playoffs as the #2 seed in the Western Conference, while Seattle made it as the #6 seed. In the past two weeks Seattle has knocked out the Ring of Fire Division champions (Honolulu) and the Cavalry Division champions (Denver). Seattle is now attempting to win their 3rd road playoff game in a row, something that has been done only once before (Santa Cruz in 2004). Hartford is a heavy favorite, having won 12 straight games and 15 of 16. This year they averaged 30.2 points scored per game (2nd highest in CFL history) and only allowed 14.0 points per game (10th-T fewest in CFL history). Hartford QB James Oberg had the best year of his career with 4,513 passing yards (1st in CFL), 33 TDs (1-T in CFL), 5 INTs (2nd fewest among starters), and a rating of 108.5 (2nd in CFL). Great write-up as always... My pass defense has been playing out of their mind in the playoffsm, they'll have to keep it up to beat Hartford. |

An interesting note about Roscoe Vankirk's long of 53 yards last week: he actually caught two 53 yard passes in the game. |
