[size=1845833b6]The Bleeding Hasn't Stopped Yet[/size45833b6]

After suffering some serious blows to roster health in 2010, this year was starting to look up for the Rounders. A few days after the draft was concluded however, bad news started emerging from the office of Vegas trainer, Dr. Cee Mei Dohng.

Turftoe had this to say,"I knew we weren't out of the woods yet but it feels like we just got donkey punched again. Some of our contract negotiations were based off of the health information we obtained during our OTA's. The older guys got older but our injured guys seemed to be suffering setbacks in their recovery. Some will get a chance to work through their setbacks and others will simply get injury settlements - we have to move forward."

When asked about the potential causes of these setbacks, Dr. Cee Mei Dohng stated, "Confucius once say, wife who put man in dog house may find him in cat house. Roundeyes currentry in dog house. Trip to cat house may be necesary. Prayers say Cee Mei Dohng and I say yes, cup with hand, and ask for cough. Some good. Some not good. Prenty of ice makes all better. We be okay. Confucius would say, bet on Honoruru."

When asked how this will affect 2011 expectations, TurfToe continued,"Many critics and fellow owners think we should return to 2009 form but I don't see it that way. We should be better off than 2010 but not by a whole lot. Sure, Wisdom lost a step...it'll take a fraction of a second longer for him to make d-tackles look stupid when he plants them on their asses but the results should be the same. Our linebackers look a little greyer than last year but I expect some All-Pro representation at the end of the year. De la Rosa and P-Dub are going into training camp worse than they were in OTA's and that hurts the team. What can you do? I feel Coach Titone is the one under the gun now. This is what I gave him to work with and it's his bitch now."

From our perspective, several older Rounders seem to have dropped a few notches and many of the injured players from last year have fallen on their faces after looking okay before the draft. 2011 will be an interesting year in Vegas.
