Shreveport announced it's cuts today to get their roster down to 53 players. The following players were cut from the Pride:

S Howard Murkowski
T Sean Pruett

Players that were surprises to make the roster:

S [player]Kim Carr[/player] who beat out Howard Murkowski for a spot on the practice squad.
RB [player]Terrance Shaughnessy[/player] who didn't look too good during the OTA's, but played his way onto the practice squad.
MLB [player]Jackie Karl[/player] who barely made the practice squad due to Joshua Mask's propensity to get injured in the last two seasons.

Coach Peterson commented that there were a lot of tough cuts to make this year, just like every year. There's a player or two that didn't make the roster that the Coach would have liked to keep if they had an extra roster spot or two.
