A solid game for the Bulldogs even though we sat most of our starters and gave the rookies most of the playing time. Undrafted rookie RB [player]Dexter Hatcher[/player] consistently gained 4-6 yards on each play and ended up with 30 rushes for 126 yards earning Game MVP honors. 1st round draft pick CB [player]Brandon Norton[/player] had an interception, defended 3 more passes, and had a 24 yard kick return. 2nd round pick G [player]Jake Schwartz[/player] had 3 key run blocks to lead the team, and 3rd round draft pick LB [player]Emmitt Stevenson[/player] forced two fumbles. The only injury was a minor knee injury to 3rd string QB [player]Julio Porter[/player].

It is always hard to tell what's what in pre-season, but I made some unique tweaks to my gameplan that seem to have gone somewhat like I expected.... QB Ellard looked good in his PT and rookie Raymond Lyon showed real promise at WR.

The playing time never real plays out like it is set. I started a QB at 7 and he played less than 1 QTR and my 2nd string guy playes the rest of the game.

Chris, did you not get my export?

The game cut players I did not want to and my depth charts look nothing like I set...

(of course, I may have just forgotten to upload it... )

At least, I had no major injuries to starters and Hall played quite a few snaps like I intended. And had a fairly good showing too.

Eh, it was preseason week 2.

Nobody got hurt and the backups played moderately well. Mathias still showed he can sling it in just over a quarter of play.

Well then...

Straight showed that he was just a QB Mentor and not meant to actually see any time on the field...

I'm pleased with the way Stevens played. He had 2 interceptions but threw the ball well against Shreveport's 1st string.

Too bad my defense never showed up though.

Maybe this won't be an 0-16 year...

Pretty decent showing from your young QB. The Polish Express showed that he's going to be a key to the Pride offense this year, both in the running and the passing game. We got a couple of starters injured for 3 weeks, but we can just sit them until regular season now. [player]Carlton Burgess[/player] is trying to make us regret spending a 1st rounder on a QB by putting up a great outing against other 2nd stringers.

We had one injury, but thankfully it wasn't too serious. 2nd year Tackle [player]Lonnie Habich[/player] will miss the next couple weeks of the preseason with a concussion.

Our rookies showed a lot of promise in this one, though. CB [player]Derek Meadows[/player] forced 2 fumbles and defended 2 passes, while WR [player]Damon Bates[/player] accounted for about 60% of our passing offense on the day with 5 catches for 86 yards and a TD.

The Tigers are what we thought they'd be. . .

young. . . .

but there are glimpses of a bright future. ..

Now to work on gameplanning for this team. ..

No, I didn't get an export from you. Hopefully the AI didn't do too much damage.

No real damage, but it did cut 2 worthless players that were leaders with multiple affinities.

Hopefully I was able to resign them...
