A good day running the ball which was what I was keying in to do this game. Lost some guys to injury, but depth at DT and WR is coming in real handy now. |

A big injury this week on our arch rival.  Jerald Barber appears done for the year. I feel bad about that, really, I do.

Pretty sloppy game in Chicago, but rookie WR Damon Bates had another great day. He caught 5 for 130 yards and 2 TDs. Hopefully he keeps coming along and can prevent teams from trying to double cover Ernie Cooley this year. |

Bah- Torn wrist tendon, Muddy Waters is out 6 weeks. Hopefully he can make it back a little early, we're not off to a good start this year. |

I couldn't care less how (poorly) Your Beloved Toros are performing in exhibition games. For me the preseason is more about rust-removal and injury-avoidance than anything else, so I'm happy that we've only sustained two minor injuries. |
