There's a gameplan bug with Version 6.1a, I think we should go back to 6.1 until this gets fixed..

This bug certainly explains the alarming frequency of goal-line defense usage. And I must say that this is the kind of shit that makes me want to throw a big :roll: at Jim G. Holy JEEBUS this is a stupid bug.

That said, the workaround is pretty simple, so I'd rather we stick with 6.1a and wait for 6.1b (which I'm guessing will be coming quickly, given the egregious nature of this bug).

Dude, you said egregious. Can't players get ejected for egregious hits nowadays? They should call it that, player ejected for egregious foul. Yet flagrant foul sounds better because of the alliteration, so egregious encroachment would sound coolio. But then encroachment would need to be called something else, like offsides with contact. However, alliteration would run rampant as alliteration often occurs (see what I mean?). So encroachment would be accidental acquaintance, invalid intercourse, mistaken meeting, or illegal impact.

See what you did Fonz, what a mess. Leave the big words for the educated and just edit your post. I vote for nefarious, deplorable, or the old standby - flagrant.

Maybe mines working fine since I double patched, right wade?

This is definitely in 6.1, and was probably in 6.0e. If people are using Rex game plans on that screen, this bug isn't very noticeable. Rex doesn't call for much more GL in Aggressive Run than in Run usually. I'm sure that's why it took so long for it to be noticed. It really only stands out when you do what Quik does:

1. virtually eliminate aggressive run throughout the game, except in certain rare situations
2. use GL heavily in the rare instances that aggressive run is called

With the screens being switched, that caused heavy use of GL in regular Run situations, making the bug stand out. With Rex playcalling on that screen (or zeroing out GL outside of the red zone, like I do), the bug makes minimal/no difference.
