Huh. No idea how we came out on top, considering Chasser ran for 135 and no one on our offense really did anything. I guess we got a couple of cheap scores on our three turnovers.

Well Taco - a bit of a letdown rivalry game with Corwin Ellard out, but Shannon put up one hell of a fight. If not for an Offsides penalty on your game winning drive on 4th down, who knows what we might have done.

So I guess it wasn't really THAT much of a letdown because it was an exciting game.

Great game, Wade. Wow, that one was crazy!! That's the most exciting game I've had in a long time. Missed field goals, huge comeback, huge penalties...came all the way down to the end. Wow. First we had that 61 yard run called back due to a holding penalty, and the we were punting on 4th down and you got called for offsides and we kept the ball. Wow. I'm stunned. That was a classic, Wade. I'm definitely looking forward to week 17.

Good game, Meatholes! You guys did a good job of shutting Hoffman down.

We tried to come back there at the end, but the interception killed it of course. We really missed Green this game.

well, that gameplan sucked. GG Hartford. . .

gg Bug. You were able to turn us over and post some respectable stats but field position was a definitive stat. I'm not sure if the shadow of your own goalposts were magnetic or if the 50-yard line was your kryptonite but it seemed like you could do anything at will in your end of the field only.

Not sure what the deal is with 48 yard FG's either, no one could hit one today.

Well, we almost pull off the upset. We had a chance and drove deep into Tucson territory late in the game but our only turnover of the game turned out to be very costly.

We held one of the best offenses in the league to just over 300 total yards and 14 pts and we ran all over their defense. I'm happy with that kind of effort.

GG Fonzie.

Boy, you said it. I was pulling my hair out while watching the game in Solevision - our coaching staff clearly wasn't getting the hint that you were set to run all day long. Instead, we kept expecting the pass on nearly every 1st & 10 or 3rd & 2. Exasperating.

Defensively your guys did a helluva job. Our running game was shut down, and you got a rare Goodwin interception. This one had me sweating bullets. gg CC.

Definitely.. it made me more comfortable with Shannon as the backup too.. I made some on the fly gameplan changes (I had forgotten that Ellard was hurt) at the last minute and they seemed to work for him.

Week 17 may lose it's luster based on records, home-field, etc. - but I know my boys will be out for payback!

meh, I held Goodwin to a rookie-esque QB rating (60-something I believe) a few weeks back and I still couldn't win. Congrats on getting close but until the Goodwin glitch is fixed there will be no cigars I'm afraid.

Well...there is always next year?

On the positive side, Marvin Raffo is having a solid year despite my pretty horrible offense. Mitch Pike didn't have a great rookie year, but with 7.5 sacks in 10 games- I'm very happy with year 2.

[player]Branden Lin[/player] is very likely done for the year as he suffered a broken clavicle on our first play from scrimmage this week. With Lin's contract up at the end of the year, this may be the beginning of the [player]Bucky Ferraro[/player] era in Boise. He passed the first test, going 20 for 28 for 282 and 3 TDs against Anchorage this week.

I think we'll still be a solid team with Ferraro at the helm, but it's too bad that we'll probably never actually get to see Lin and Cooley on the field together in a playoff game.

Yeah, but that was against Anchorage. Most college teams would look good against Anchorage right now...

Congrats on the win and sorry about Lin!
At least it's not his shin. Won't happen again.
Perhaps he's too thin or takes Fen-Phen.

Oh...I want to continue...I really do...

It's funny you mention him being thin. I have actually bulked him up the last 2 offseasons (I believe he's gained 17 pounds), and he's still significantly below the average for his position. I have wondered if that's part of the reason he's been somewhat injury prone over the years.

my god, we are horrible.

Albany isn't very good either, so the game was close but they are still much better than us and really should have whipped our butts. Penalties probably cost them a few points.

Good game thater.

And I can't believe you've taken the division lead with that win!

Yes, we held you to 70 passing yards and 174 total yards, but penalties did hurt us. We are a 4-6 powerhouse, hehe. I can't believe we are in the division lead either. But, I really can't believe we beat Tampa Bay last week. Maybe we are learning how to scratch out tough wins, but I doubt it.

Great game Tulsa. I did suffer a terrible lose in that game. My TE Devin Lynn is out with torn knee cartilage for six weeks. Pretty much the rest of the regular season. He was my touchdown maker. I'll have to scheme in a new way to get the ball in the end zone. Good luck the rest of the year, until the last week we play.

We were looking good in the first half, unfortunately, they didn't call the game after the first half. We were up 17-0 and ended up losing 21-20 in the last 2 minutes. Despite the loss, [player]Carl Bradford[/player] had a pretty decent game.

I'm still not sure how we pulled out a win this week. We pretty much lost in every stat category except the most important one, the scoreboard. [player]Vince Sheen[/player] led the comeback and had game MVP honors. His stats would have been better if not for all the dropped passes.

A win is a win.

[quote5d7e0f7="Hoosier"]well, that gameplan sucked. GG Hartford. . .[/quote5d7e0f7]

I'd scrap that gameplan.

My defense set a new league record for fewest yards allowed (83).

The one stat that really jumped out at me was Brooklyn completed 21 of 34 passes for 74 yards - that's 3.5 yards per completion. Throw in the three sacks, and Brooklyn averaged 1.54 yards per pass attempt. The longest completion went for 10 yards.

I was worried when you ran back the kick for a TD. We were able to chew up the clock after that and then had the big pick at the end to seal the deal. Good game.
