Well - that was scary...

My backup QB, [player]Nolan Shannon[/player] goes down with a serious foot injury early in the 2nd throwing my starting QB [player]Corwin Ellard[/player] who has a bum knee into the game. Fortunately he played lights out and did not aggravate the injury. 29 for 34 and 5 TD's combined - i'll take it.

A little mini-losing streak from Durham, so I'm slightly getting my hopes up - but likely the division is on lock-down.

Ugly game where the defenses came to play and the offenses couldn't keep up.

Brooklyn gets to .500 for my first time with the franchise and we're looking. . . young!

GG Baltimore.

What's happened to [player]Kenneth Lester[/player] the past 3 weeks? 5 INTs in the 1st 9 games...and now 12 INTs in the last 3 games including 5 this week. Did someone let Jessica Simpson into the stadium?

Crap, didn't adjust the offensive game plan to compensate for my 2nd string QB... he was 2 of 13 for the long passes. Then add the two interceptions and the three fumbles by Gilson alone, and I'm surprised the game was that close.

Good game TLK. Once again, my kicker sticks it to me. The defense blowing a 21-0 lead didn't help either.

gg Stretch, you guys ran all over us. It didn't help that the Samoan Tsunami went out at the beginning of the 2nd quarter, as that makes our run defense very thin in the middle. I hope to get early leads the next few weeks as my interior tackles are more pass rushers than run stoppers. The loss of Ah Yat will hurt until he returns.

"Sticky" Vince Pete was also knocked out of this contest. Yes, it's a new nickname for Pete. If Bob Wells can go by the name of "Pancake", the only thing that tops that is syrup. Well, sometimes butter too I guess.

Palmer is finally coming around and even learning how to throw into double coverage (Olsen is teaching him a thing or two still). This will increase Burt Lang's value as he is always getting double-teamed.

If we can patch up some holes here we might just make a playoff run yet.

We played a horrible game. I felt bad watching it because I could see how it was going to end. If I could give you the victory.... I would. gg Mike.

GG, Fonzie. We actually made it a fairly close game most of the way, but we couldn't throw enough to be any kind of real threat to win it. Goodwin and the Tucson running game got on track enough in the 4th to put it away. Defensively, I think it was about as good as we could've hoped for. Your defense was even better, though.

Unfortunately we'll be stuck with QB #3 again next week, and we lost one of our OLBs for the year in the final minutes. Seattle is inching closer, so we really need the win this week against Albany.

While not quite approaching Simpson-influenced terribleness, [player]Kent Goodwin[/player] is also in a bit of a rut. 4 INTs in his last two games is uncharacteristic for him. Of course, those were against some tough defenses in New Orleans and Boise, so maybe it is too early to worry that the Goodwin Glitch has been fixed.

His 2 picks today weren't terribly consequential, and we were able to avoid the "trap" game scenario against a QB-ravaged Boise squad. gg timmy - your D in particular did a great job.

Oh, and my condolences to [player]Drew Holliday[/player]. I had to switch him to TE to avoid having an illegal roster, as I had forgotten that my starting TE was "out" and I had just one other TE on the roster. Poor Drew was the only non-position leader who could make the switch. I'm hopeful that we can switch him back to RB once we get Torres healthy.

got a solid win...glad i didnt change the gameplan like i was contemplating...i mustve missed something when i looked at the roster because of the AI...maybe it was the TE injury...

the real dilemna for us is RB...we have given Rison the rock and he missed a few games with an injury and the replacement duo are playing well...gonna have to do something there...

Congratulations on the win! When the 3rd string QB gets any playing time for my team, it is a horrid game...and horrid it was. Hoffman's broken thumb and the injuries among the TEs seemed more than our offense could overcome. No Billy Volek for Memphis. And then more injuries...and it seemed like we lost every toss of the dice with the AI. I don't know how many of the dropped passes were due to Hoffman's thumb or the receiver's inability to catch the ball. Our defense was able to do some nice stops at times (I liked where the TD was called back and the D was able to hold Chicago to a FG :D ), but the LB corps is just decimated at the moment. Maybe there is some magic FOF healing elixir I can slip into their Gatorade?

It's my own fault for giving my QB a contract extension at this point.

Yeah, once we fumbled the ball on our own 6 to give you guys a 2 TD lead, we had to start throwing it and we just don't have the QBs to do that.

gg TT and good luck the rest of the year!

Got a new computer and I'm having issues with getting it running properly and right now I'm not able to zip files. So I'm kinda stuck with no game access while I get this figured out. Not that it matters much as my team stinks and I'm going full throttle towards the #1 pick whether I gameplan or not.

GG El Paso.

That was just a Jessica Simpson look alike. We paid her $50 and a case of beer to be in the stands. Cheaper than the original, but equally as stupid.

I have to admit I was shock when I saw the score of the game. Your D did a nice job against our running game, but we can bring it through the air when needed. 5 picks will kill almost any team.

We are playing better each week, I just hope we do not peak too early.

A heartbreaking 1 point loss to Hartford...

We were dominated, but somehow, thanks to turnovers, managed to lead thru most of the game, only to let Hartford come back and score 20 points in the 4th.

Good game masked.

I felt kind of bad about winning that game. How much does it suck to lose an all-world QB, only to then immediately lose his incredibly promising backup? Starting a 3rd string QB sucks, especially for such a good team like Boise. You have my sympathies timmy.

But please stop intercepting Goodwin, ok? It doesn't look good on his stat sheet.
