Wow. There was a soft click, almost as though a switch flipped, at halftime as Boise went from outplaying Tucson in a tight game to retardedly bad. Like can't return a kick past the 15 (though we'll still bring it out to the 11 from 5 yards deep), 3 yard pass on 3rd and 5 bad. [player]Bucky Ferraro[/player] started 15/16 for a couple hundred and 2 TDs and went 4/20 for about 20 yards after that.

After we gave them the ball on our 45, 42 and their 41 to give up 21 quick 3rd Q points, and then fumbled on the very next play to give it to them at our 17 I turned it off. Looking over the log now, it looks like Bucky finished the game with 11 straight incompletions spanning the entire 4th quarter. Good times.

First half total yards 274-183 in favor of Boise.
Second half total yards 267-40 in favor of Tucson.

Ah well. GG Fonzie. Good luck the rest of the way.

Wow, it was like 2 different teams played each half. That was an interesting game.

Sorry, Boise. I was rooting for you. That was probably your downfall. :)

Wow. I didn't expect us to get past Albany that easily. The San Antonio defense shut down Albany and held them to 156 yards in total offense. The pass defense was dominant as they only allowed 15-38 in passing attempts while recording 4 sacks and 3 interceptions. [player]J.J. Houston[/player] was up to his old tricks and was in the QBs face all day.

Now we need to face New Orleans for a 3rd time this year to see which Deep South team gets to represent the conference in the CFL Bowl.

GG Fastcat our ugly ball style gets another win. I thought we were a year away yet, but I'll take the success this team is having. They are overachieving to the max. We have to take the bull by the horns the next game or we are going home.

That sucked major ass. I started my rookie LT as Roset was injured and listed as probable, but I wanted a healthy Sprehe in there and that did not work. It seemed the whole line imploded with that move, as we could not run the ball, or allow Fisk the time to throw the ball. Ugly, ugly, ugly ass game.

Two 1st's and two 2nd's in the upcoming draft, and I will need to make the most of them to get to the CFL Bowl next season.

You pretty much nailed it, timmy. I was reading the game log and once I reached halftime I thought, "oh dear, we're lucky to be down just 7 points - our defense has been terrible and I can't see that changing." But change it did - that was as complete a "flipped switch" as I've seen in quite a while. I HATE games like that, win or lose (well, I hate it more if I lose, I suppose). Your team deserved better, timmy.

It is great to see 2 Deep South teams in this thing. Unfortunately you will be facing only about 1/2 of the New Orleans team due to an unreasonable and unrealistic number of injuries that we have been facing this year. I really have no idea how we have gotten this far.

I know. It's making it more difficult to game plan trying to figure out how the heck you'll be filling the holes you have on the D-Line. Knowing the history though, you'll probably blow us out since you've had our number for a few years now. We just edged you out in the final game of the year.
