GG Denver. Pretty frustrating loss, but Denver is a good team and by the end you guys had outplayed us by just a smidge, so I can't complain too much.

Here's what bugged me, though:

4-7-DEN33 (4Q: 02:13) PENALTY: Boise was called for Delay of Game.
4-12-DEN38 (4Q: 02:13) Fernando LeBlanc attempted a 55 yard field goal and missed short of the crossbar.

First of all, I have FGs set for 52 yards, so I guess it was using end of game/half logic. We gave a team with no timeouts the ball at our 45 when all they needed was a FG to beat us. As it was Denver kicked a the game winner with about 10 seconds left. Maybe if they actually had to drive the field we could've gotten a stop. Ah well. That's FOF.

Arizona starts off the season 3-0 with a win over Texas!

[player]Justin Garner[/player] continues his great play and [player]Zack Beyer[/player] gets 2 INTs including the one to stop Texas inside our 30 late in the 4th. We ended up with the ball for over 10 minutes of the 4th Q and essentially played keep away from the Texas offense.

GG B-Jay!

We managed to beat Brooklyn through our running game - Chiaverini had his second straight 100+ game and RB Tim Connell took a kick return 99 yards.

There was no defense being played in the Oregon-Huntington Beach game. 38-44 OT. Fun game to watch. Our rookie qb played well.

The win was nice, but the disastrous injury to the [player]Charles Thomason[/player] is going to really hurt what was already a small chance of sneaking into the playoffs. Hopefully, his ratings will not take a hit when he comes back next year. With [player]Max Gray[/player] still out, we may simply have to set our run % to 100%.

At least [player]Wes Harden[/player] had an outstanding game, completing 28 of 30 passes for 277 yards and 5 TDs. Harden won his second player of the week award (in only 5 starts!).

We hold Long Beach to 1 offensive TD and still lose.

Of course, we fumbled the ball at the LBE 1 yard line and Fisk threw a pick-6.

I'm hoping we hit our stride soon.

P.S. At least Boise lost. ;) This division may turn into a war of attrition.

Agreed. This was a game where the team that had the ball last was going to win.

HB won the coin fip in OT, then went 84 yards in 6 plays and about 2 1/2 minutes for the winning TD. Oregon never saw the ball in OT.

Man, we just couldn't finish our drives today. Can't wait to get Mr. Jones back next week as he usually can solve that problem.

GG Boise,

We were glad to get the W against a class team like Boise. A turnover early helped our cause and ugly ball gets us by once again.

Yup, we gave up a ton of yards, but ill-timed turnovers and a very sloppy red zone offense only resulted in 12 points for your Stingers.

We, on the other hand, did not have many chances but converted them.

Good game Shooter.
