How many injuries can I have in one season? Just lost our best player in rookie WR Barry Reeves for the season, lost one of our starting CBs, our backup FB (as our starting FB is still out). We have more guys on our injury report than the rest of the division combined. This season is just toast. GG Shreveport. |

[player]Barry Reeves[/player] was eating us up while he was in the game. Our D stepped up in this game and took the run game away again. This time, however, they also covered the receivers down the field. [player]Desmond Dunlap[/player] gets two picks to set the tone in the secondary. We were also lucky in keeping our penalty yards low. We usually have quite a few penalties, but our 7 penalties only went for 38 yards. GG, CC |

Our red zone offense was terrible, and we had a 70 yard TD called back on a penalty, yet I'm not going to complain. We got a solid road win against a very tough New Orleans team, and that's cause for rejoicing. gg Meatholes! |

[quote0f6830b="Cheesehead Craig"] We have more guys on our injury report than the rest of the division combined. [/quote0f6830b] In case anyone is wondering, that's not hyperbole. CC has 12 guys on the injury report, while the other three RoF teams have a total of seven players on the report. Crazy bad luck, CC. You have my sympathies. |

There is simply no fun in playing with this crap. |

[quote4ab092d="TLK"]Closer than I thought it would be. gg timmy.[/quote4ab092d] GG. It was extremely close. It really could've gone either way, and you probably had me if not for that holding call in OT that took you out of FG range. |

The injuries always seem focused on one or two positional groups when it does happen and no matter what you do you can't get healthy. |

A pretty wild game for us in Seattle. The team just doesn't show up in the 1st quarter, we have only 19 yards of offense and just 1 first down while Seattle moves the ball at will and quickly scores 14 points to go up 14-0. Then, he defense stiffens up and the Spartans never really get a good drive going again (except maybe one that ends on a long missed FG), and also get a pick 6. Meanwhile, the offense starts clicking and we score 38 unanswered points to roll to an easy victory. Woot! |

Only LVS can catch you up with an 11-5 record, and you've already swept them so own the H2H tiebreaker. Sorry TT, not your year again... |

gg GE We took the wind out of your sails a few times deep in our territory and that turned out to be the difference in the game. I was a little confused by two penalty scenarios. One time it was 2nd and 10 and we gained 9 yards. However, there was an offsides against the defense. Instead of declining and having a 3rd and 1, we accepted and had a 2nd and 5. We ended up punting. The second time it was 1st and 10 and the same thing happened. Offsides and a 9 yard gain. Instead of a 2nd and 1 after declining we accept and have a 1st and 5. While getting a free down seems like a good idea I'll always take a 2nd/3rd and 1. We almost got stuffed on this occasion but pulled a big pass play out of our ass to convert. Am I wrong in thinking the penalty should be declined in these cases or do others agree in declining the penalty? |

I've cursed the game for taking the penalty and losing 4 yards. I'd much rather the 4 yards unless it was 3rd down and my options were 3rd and 5 or 4th and 1. |

We have 3 starting OL men plus my TE and FB out right now, and we did not give up a sack and avg 6 per carry rushing. Small victories make the game fun when your season ends up on IR. |
