Chicago hands us a tough loss as we can't muster any offense apart from Chiaverini's running. Hopefully we can get an 8-7-1 record this year. 9 wins looks unlikely with only four games to go.

I'm not sure how the hell we won that game against Tulsa. It almost looked like we Shreveported them. Somehow I'm still in the playoff hunt.

GG Tulsa.

GG Fastcat. That was one of the best games we've played all year and gives us a chance at a bye, though we'd need to gain a game on Denver. Unfortunately, [player]Damon Bates[/player] went down late in the game with a high ankle sprain, and he'll be out the rest of the way.

We hurt ourselves some more with ill-timed penalties but we were able to get some points. Long Beach did a good job of holding us to field goals but we were still able to put up our 21+ that we like to see every week.

It looks as though we lost RT [player]Victor Twisp[/player] for his career with a 93-week hip issue. Twisp was drafted in 2007 by the Rounders and was one of the first good offensive linemen we drafted in the early years. He turned out to be an excellent value pick in the mid-second round and has been the right side anchor ever since. He wasn't the best pass protector (1.1 sack %) and was all about being a very physical run blocker, which contributed to his inablility to play a full 16 games every year.

A very nice win for us this week as we took on Hartford. Our defense played very well across the board, we ran the ball well early and the passing kicked into gear as needed. I thought htis would be a tough game and it looks like everything turned up San Anotnio's way today.

Is there enough time in the season to catch Shreveport? Down 2 games and 3 to play with a game at home vs Shreveport should provide for an interesting end to the season.

GG Fonzie,

Looks like we tried to make a come back but came up short. It's always good to get the Tucson game behind us in the schedule. It's always a tough game and good measuring stick. Denver L 20-17.

Thanks Taco, good game to you too.

A very tense game, tight until the end.

Turning point is a FG attempt in the 4th quarter that would have given us a 3 point lead, was blocked and instead gave a short field for the Bulldogs who converted what would be the game winning FG...

this first loss stings a bit because we probably didn't deserve to lose.

On the other hand, we've won quite a few games this season that we had no business winning, so I can't complain at all...

Honestly, I never imagined we'd open the season 11-1...

gg to you too, Marven. And don't take this the wrong way, but I HATE playing Denver. Your squad always gives us fits, and today was no different. In fact, were it not for a lucky 97 yard pick-6, we lose.
