Per the constitution: # Before the start of the previous season's playoffs, the Director shall create a thread in the CFL Forum entitled "Hall of Legends Nominations." # Any current owner, former owner, or fan may nominate any eligible player for nomination by posting a reply in the Hall of Legends Nominations thread. # The voting period shall begin at the start of the first free agency period and end at midnight EST before the training camp stage is simulated. # All votes shall be cast by secret ballot submitted to the Hall of Fame Director by Private Message (PM) on the CFL Forum. Only current team owners may vote and only one vote shall be cast per team. # To be inducted, a player must receive 20 votes from the Committee of the Whole, or 75% of votes cast (minimum of 20 votes cast). To make a nomination: Post the players name and a brief blurb about why they deserve to be in the Hall of Legends. Here is what I posted in the retirement thread last season for James Oberg. [color=blue9ec3995]James Oberg[/color9ec3995] was the last original Attack player left on the team. He was a rookie in the leagues inaugural season. Over his 16 season career he lead the Attack to 10 division titles in 11 seasons and 2 championships. He finishes as the all-time leader in 4 key categories. Career Rankings Ranking Category #1 Games Started #1 Passing Yards #1 Touchdown Passes #1 Wins as a starting QB -------------------------------- This season Dwayne Bridges passed Oberg for TDs, yards, and starts. Oberg still has a comfortable lead in career wins. |
