If there's no owner on these teams before the franchise, I would recommend that the commish steps in on each team to tag the following players: Chicago - QB Kerry Wells Durham - LT Kurt Warren El Paso - no real candidate, their best unsigned player is a kicker. I know I wouldn't franchise him if it was my team, maybe others would? (I haven't looked at Anchorage, since bigmouth has expressed interest in 'em) That is only for the sake of league balance. |

But I would hate that whoever steps in to take over the Hitmen has a QB less team, through no fault of his own. |
