I released an inactive LB and picked up a DT on this export and AI changed my active players and starting lineup. It even put in an injured player.

Is there any way to avoid this. This pre-season game was a complete waste for us with regards to getting young player experience. There was not any reason for AI to make player changes.

I hate midweeks during pre-season but we should also be able to make roster changes without AI going in and changing everything.

You have to leave an active roster spot for the signed player. Not necessarily a depth chart spot, just an active roster spot.

Yes. Submit a full depth chart using only 45 active players, and the FA signee becomes the 46th active player, but can't get on the depth chart.

My other league only runs mid-weeks if requested by an owner (and even then we maybe do one mid-week a season, max). So I'm definitely against mid-weeks during pre-season. ;-)

I have always struggled with transactions going into a game week. Can we get this information put in a sticky so that the information is available when needed?

Even though I read the thread an understand what needs to be done, I will have a similar situation down the road and I will not remember the specifics nor will I be able to find the thread again with our [sarcasm] effective [/sarcasm] search tool.

Just a few minor injuries, but starting QB Gardner gets dinged so we'll sit him the next game and give Harvey Hilson some more time with the starters.

I'll add this thread to the sticky thread...
