Our offense finally looked decent. A.J. Jefferies and Dean Bazzell hooked up a bunch of times and Mitchell Southard scored twice from nowhere. New Orleans scored 14 of their 17 off turnovers. Other than that, our defense managed a near perfect game. Always good to take down an undefeated team.

Defense was on fire today. We shut down Arizona. DT Kellett had a sack and 5 knockdowns. Poor Justin Garner is going to have nightmares.
Offense was very good as well.

GG Arizona

Well Garner shit his pants quite well in that game. Guess I should have just ran the ball with Atkins all day long as he at least could do something.

Gotta figure out where the hell my defense went to on this one. I didn't think I made that big of an adjustment to what we had been doing so far this season.

Absolutely crushed by Santa Cruz, lots of turnovers.

Lose 4 guys to injury, one season ending for a backup RB.

I thought I submitted a file for this week but I guess I need to be a bit more careful in that regard. I was hoping to get RB Abrams back onto the field after recovering from his injury. I guess we will do that next week. Overall, we played a solid game but lost to a better team. We marched down the field towards the end in attempt to tie the game but couldn't get it done.

I saw some good things from our team and we have been in a lot of our games but don't seem to know how to win after starting 1-5. Hopefully, these young guys continue to improve and don't lose that confidence and swagger that they brought with them from college.

[player]Ernie Cooley[/player] seems to get better with age. He's on pace to have by far his best year and now needs 301 receiving yards to move to 2nd on the all time list. He's gone over 125 in 3 of the last 4 and scored 4 TDs in 2 weeks. Today he chipped in 5 catches for 143 and 2 scores to help us pull away from Long Beach.

A crazy and disappointing loss to Tulsa this week. I didn't get my export in, and the gameplan showed it. Started off great, but the offense couldn't move the ball after the 1st quarter. The D came up big, twice forcing and recovering fumbles inside our 10 yard line. In fact, we didn't give up an offensive TD - Tulsa scored on an interception return and a fumble return. Kind of an ugly game, with 19 total penalties. Rookie RB Richie Ragland's TC bust has left a hole in our running game. GG Tulsa, in a gritty win.

Good game TLK. I think we went too conservative this week. I backed off on starter time trying to speed up the healing process on injured players. I am not sure how much of an affect it had , but in my infinite wisdom we get our first lose and I still have 10 listed on the injury report. I am at that point at a few positions where 1 more injury forces me to cut and pick up players to fill holes.

A disappointing loss in a nailbiter versus San Antonia.

3 very costly fumbles cost us the game. 2 were inside our own 10 yards and directly offered the Stingers 10 points, and the other was inside their 10 yards and probably cost us at least 3 points.

The San A. punter was also on fire, pinning us deep in our half time and time again.

Still, I can't help feeling we could have won that one.

Good game Shooter and congrats on the win.

gg Murdock, take pride in the fact you are the first team to keep Robbie Schultz under 150 yards by only giving up 98! Lost another key secondary member (that's 2 in 2 games) :x Off to a surprising start hope we can keep it up.

3 INTs in the first half pretty much sealed our fate. The talent disparity between these 2 teams is reflected pretty well in the way the game turned out. This team needs a lot more building in the future to make it competitive.

GG Albany.

We were definitely glad to get the win seeing as Detroit has historically given us a tough time. Both teams played the field position game very well and we were able to capitalize on the key turnovers. I wasn't sure how we'd fair on the ground today, but [player]Roy Jones[/player] broke off some nice gains early and we nearly averaged 10 yards a carry through the first half.

Looks like this team has some life left in them as we get back to .500 on the year.

As if it wasn't bad enough that we had our top return man / starting WR out with an unknown time due to severe anxiety, we no have our secondary leader out with the same damn thing.

WTF, is this thing contagious?

Well, a visit to Detroit will often lead to severe depression...

Glad to get a win. Joey has been probable with 1 week to full strength for the last 3 or 4 weeks and I have not played him. He is worrying me, but I will sit him again this week. We have the talent, that has not been an issue in Albany for the last few seasons. I have been working on my defensive game plans lately and looks like this helped. I just hate 6 of your 20 first downs came from penalties.

Tough loss in the final 4 minutes to Tucson - not a lot of defense in a shoot out of a game. GG Fonzie; our wild card hopes are fading fast.
