Lucked out when El Paso busted their cap, and was able to sign LT Eloy Erdman as insurance in case Orumieh takes a hit whenever he gets around to being healthy.

Is the HTML export updated, or more important, the transaction log?

Damn! 3ric got the only decent WR left in free agency! :(

Now, with some luck, he'll cause a conflict with your QB and you'll trade him to Detroit, just like you did with Sullivan... :)

I was lucky to get him, he was headed for El Paso, but apparently they lacked the cap room. I really hope he'll get along with the other offensive leaders... :? ...with his signing bonus I'll be shot if that happens!

Nah, I don't think he would have gone to El Paso, your offer was better!

As for me, with the sucky bunch of receivers I have and the good running combo and great set of tight ends that I have, you can expect to see a lot of short passing this year in Vampire land...
Of course, my QB Mathias is a 'long pass' type of QB, but oh well, never mind...

Finally got it to work. Had some sort of virus that was killing all my downloads. Oh well. File sent finally.

I read the transaction log as if El Paso's offer was the top offer (i.e. most preferred by the player, not necessarily the highest), but was withdrawn due to busting the cap, and he signed with the 2nd choice... both Tucson and Shreveport had higher bids. But I could be wrong.

Is free agency always this thin for WRs?

Ugh, not having any cap space really, really sucks...

[quote99ae27d="flere-imsaho"]Is free agency always this thin for WRs?[/quote99ae27d]

For some reason, this league is very thin at the WR position. Last year's draft was a joke in regards to WR, and this year had one stud and a few good players, but not enough to increase the overall talent level...
And therefore, GMs usually try to hang on to their good receivers...

Yes, our bids were higher. Dammit. :(

And that one rookie stud belongs to Chi. For those in dire need we have some WR talent we might be persuaded to move.

How about an established, Power Running RB?

I also haven't noticed a lack of good WR's. Plotkin and Beech look okay to me. :)
