Hartford completes a great first quarter with an easy win over Chicago. We're 4-0 but have faced a weak schedule. After the bye in week 5, the schedule gets much tougher. At least [player]Carlos Beito[/player] returns from his preseason injury.

I need help with offensive gameplanning, the more I plan for the run the more I pass. With 80% runs we throw it 43 times with 19 completions and 4 picks...wtf?! We are averaging well over 4 ypc but we won't run it.

I guess it's going to 90% next week and I'm turning off the adjustments...I'm sure I'll be amazed at what we get next.

You had me very nervous in the first half. You were moving the ball like crazy on me and I thought I was doomed. Lucky for me, my secondary stepped up on those picks. Good game. I was really expecting to be ran over and blown out...especially with Ferraro out (possibly) for his career.

That's what had me concerned, it was almost too easy, which in FOF-speak means the tide will turn and it did. My gameplan was to run it until we were stopped and then run some more. Apparently I don't know how to do that or FOF does whatever it wants...probably the latter.

Our pass rush, which was one of our strengths lat season and had been strangely absent this season so far, finally wakes up and gets to the Boston QB for 8 sacks. This made our job easy on offense. It was far from a perfect outing, but the win's good enough for me.
