I just upgraded to 6.3, and I think it changed the amount of cap space that I have. Previously I think I had about $5.5 million. Now it lists me as just $3.02 under the cap. Has anyone else noticed this?

Also, it says that Omaha is over the cap by $860,000.

The minimum salary was lowered in 6.3; therefore, you lose the vet cap exemption and players signed to the 6.2 min suddenly count for about 500K more.

Bear in mind that's only true looking at Smitty's cap through the 6.3 lens. In 6.2 nothing has changed.

Will that affect me in the offseason, as in losing a 3rd round draft pick?

Also keep in mind that renegotiating too is supposed to be harder in 6.3.

I don't think so. As far as the game is concerned, you're still in fine cap shape. And I don't think the immediate offseason is one of those "Cap Check" points in the game. In one of my other MP leagues I was way over the cap at the beginning of the season and didn't get hit with a draft pick penalty. And you'll probably end up under the cap to begin the year anyways thanks to expiring contracts or retirements.

Short version of my answer: I'm 99.9% certain you'll be fine.

So when exactly should we be applying the patch on our end?
