Anybody seen a significant difference to a player's ratings after camp? I've seen that my sixth-round pick, DT Kurt Joyner, looks quite a bit better than you'd expect from such a late pick... not a blue-chip stud like IHOF's Bret Boyer, but a nice surprise. |

Nothing big on the Boston front. Pretty all of my rookies (who I didn't draft, of course), stayed within a couple of points. Perhaps the nicest situation is Claude McCullough, the first-rounder, who lost no future potential points, and went up 3 or 4 (I think) in current. |

Let's breakdown the Vampires rookies. 1st rd: G Mark Blair 0 cur / +4 fut 2nd rd: traded to Seattle 3rd rd: WR Seth Fields 0 cur / -4 fut 4th rd: RB Grady Lofton +1 cur / -1 fut 5th rd: QB Freddie 'Sleaze' Slezak +2 cur / -4 fut 6th rd: DE Leonard Davison +1 cur / -1 fut 7th rd: a computer picked Punter, was released before ever being signed. So overall, no major changes for us. Most futures went down, but these guys are all carreer backups at best so they will probably never reach their full potentials, so... I'm just a bit worried that Blair did not gain any current points, but he hasn't signed his rookie contract yet so this might be why... |

Dola - in a somewhat related subject, some of my vets had nice little boosts, specifically Freddie Mathias who had a nice 8 currentpoint bump...I think I have a great offensive year ahead of me... |

Found Joyner's predraft ratings, he was listed as a 3.2 with a 27/35 current/future. Now he's a 43/58! |

Tucson didn't have any camp booms or busts, but I was pleased to see that 5th round stud/post-draft boom RT Matthew Pitman gained +5 current (though he lost 4 future). Most of the others were either static or gained a point or two in current and lost a few points future. |

I have a bunch of veterans that ended up with lower ratings. Does that count? |

I'm pretty happy with the slight boom of ilb Floyd Lewis MLB with an excellent player and mentor playing beside him, he can get very good very soon. He already is a 51/75. I think he was suppsed to be a 42/71 if I am not mistaken. The rest? Mehhh. Also looks like last years starter at rb Brooks Creed (boomed) who was pretty much dead even with the guy I aquired to challenge him Craig Greene, so that made that preseason/season battle a wash. Other than my defensive backfield I am pretty happy with my team. If you have some good cornerbacks/safeties and don't want the world for them, hit me up with a pm or email me at scarface132@gmail.com Btw, my linebackers are going to be sick this year. WOOT! |
