Three weeks ago, during the Memphis bye week, the team complex was a quiet place. Elevator doors could be heard opening and the occasional phone conversation could be overheard, but the dark cloud of a 1-5 start left the whole organization devoid of life. What a difference two games can make. No longer are the head coach and the general manager waiting by their desks to get a dreaded call from the owner. Now the coach works tirelessly with his staff and preparing players for what many in the organization believe is the team's biggest game in years. "You try not to look at the standings but a lot of our boys have been talking about it and after the place this team has been you don't want to discourage people." Coach Sam Hobbs said to media gathered after practice. "There is a renewed energy around this team. We want to tap into that energy and help it drive everything around here. We want everyone from the coaching staff to the scouting department to the marketing people getting excited."
