[b90d370e]James Rousdouer (Alliance Sports Network)[/b90d370e]

It's been an exciting two weeks already of the CFL season. Some teams have met expectations while others have run away from them. Let's get to the week three prognostications.

[b90d370e]Boise at Tulsa[/b90d370e]
1-1 Boise has looked average so far this season with no standouts, but in the Ring of Ice that could win you a division championship. Tulsa has struggled in the early going but I think they turn it around at home.
Boise 24 Tulsa 28

[b90d370e]El Paso at Honolulu[/b90d370e]
El Paso is playing better then it has in a while but their offense will have a tough time scoring enough points to keep up with Honolulu.
El Paso 14 Honolulu 31

[b90d370e]Hartford at Shreveport[/b90d370e]
Shreveport is a scrappy team that you don't want to let hang around late into the game. That being said Hartford seems like they are in mid-season form.
Shreveport 20 Hartford 35

[b90d370e]Texas at Anchorage[/b90d370e]
This is going to be an ugly game that only a mother could love. Both teams have struggled to score so far this year with Anchorage getting the only notch in their belt against Oregon.
Texas 13 Anchorage 7 (Going with the home team; someone has to win this game.)

[b90d370e]Chicago at Omaha[/b90d370e]
Expect Omaha to run all over the Hitmen. It will be a little closer then Omaha would like but their running game and Chicago's inability to stop the run gets Omaha the win.
Chicago 13 Omaha 20

[b90d370e]Baltimore at Brooklyn[/b90d370e]
This one is going to be close, expect it to go back and forth.
Baltimore 23 Brooklyn 26

[b90d370e]Long Beach at Oregon[/b90d370e]
When your struggling to rush the ball and your playing a team that only lost by one point to the defending champions, I think your in for a rough week.
Oregon 35 Long Beach 20

[b90d370e]St. Louis at Atlantic City[/b90d370e]
2-0 vs 0-2, normally I would say something about how Atlantic City needs to be careful and that this could be a trap game and...aw forget it. We're talking about St. Louis.
St. Louis 7 Atlantic City 31

[b90d370e]Fargo at Arizona[/b90d370e]
Two teams with a penchant for turning the ball over but other wise playing solid football. Anytime Arizona plays an out of division opponent I worry for the other team because Arizona is a team that would compete for a division crown every year, if they weren't in the Ring of Fire.
Fargo 21 Arizona 27

[b90d370e]Tennessee at Albany[/b90d370e]
Another game with two teams in a similar situation. Both are rebuilding after terrible 2024 seasons, but they seem to be heading in opposite directions. Albany played with some spirit in week 1 losing to a much more talented Cleveland team and then rolled over in week 2. Tennessee lost a heartbreaker in week 1 and then won and game they never trailed in in week 2.
Tennessee 30 Albany 17

[b90d370e]Boston at New Orleans[/b90d370e]
New Orleans is very talented on defense but this whole game will come down to Alex Torres vs C.J. Hicks.
Boston 17 New Orleans 20

[b90d370e]Las Vegas at Santa Cruz[/b90d370e]
In consecutive weeks Las Vegas had played powers from both conferences, this does not bode well for Santa Cruz.
Las Vegas 30 Santa Cruz 7

[b90d370e]Tuscon at Huntington Beach[/b90d370e]
It's Tuscon...
Tuscon 24 Huntington Beach 7

[b90d370e]Seattle at Denver[/b90d370e]
Denver was in the conference championship game just last season. They pull themselves together after two losses.
Seattle 17 Denver 27

[b90d370e]San Antonio at Detroit[/b90d370e]
Both of these teams find themselves needing to win this game to keep up in their divisions early in the season. I see the Vampire offense being a little too explosive for the Stingers.
San Antonio 24 Detroit 37

[i90d370e][b90d370e]*Game of the Week*[/b90d370e][/i90d370e]

[b90d370e]Cleveland at Durham[/b90d370e]
Cleveland, like Durham, likes to score through the air. These two teams are starting to develop a bit of a rivalry, don't think that the Flats have forgotten who knocked them out of the playoffs on their way to a championship. A lot of Cleveland players feel they could have won it all last year. The Bulldogs would rather have home field advantage in the playoffs last year so they can avoid being road warriors and whoever wins this game will have a huge tie breaker come December as both teams will be positioning for the playoffs.
Cleveland 29 Durham 31

Frickin' awesome.

It'll be double-frickin' awesome if you're right about the TUC-HBE game.

Obviously, I like your prediction, but I am quite uncertain about this one. One of my two regular season losses last year was on the road against Shreveport. The handled us easily last year and won by 14 points.

James Rousdour is a trusted authority on all things CFL, but he did pick Seattle to win it all last year.

Good job GM, we've been missing some much needed stories during the season *hint TT*

In a perfect world, everyone would contribute to the news. If everyone did one story each realtime week there would always be something. Even if its a one paragraph game summary or an interview.

I understand that there are effective treatments for that burning sensation you're experiencing.
