Week 14 Review
Week 14 was a disappointment for the Deep South Division. The division was 1-3 with the only win coming as New Orleans made an underwhelming rebound win, 10-7, over lowly Texas. Shreveport and Tennessee lost to inferior opponents while San Antonio continued their slide with a third straight loss.
Week 15 Games:
New Orleans @ Tennessee
These two teams are very close in the standings, how close they are in actual talent still remains to be seen. Over their last five games New Orleans is 1-4 while Tennessee is 3-2. If the Raging Horde team that plays solid defense shows up then the Horde can even the season series, if either Marvin Barton plays well or Emmanuel Cole finally has his break-out game of the season then Tennessee wins. This one is really a toss up.
Tennessee 24 - New Orleans 17
Shreveport @ San Antonio
If this game happened two weeks later it would be the division championship game. This game comes down to the two quarterbacks, Bradford and Sheen will determine this game. Whichever quarterback can avoid the turnovers will win this game and position themselves very well for a playoff run heading into the last two games of the season.
Playoff Picture:
The division's current standings show the order of who is most likely to make the playoffs at present. But with only two games difference from the top to the bottom and every team having two division games left every team still has a shot.
