[bd5bd2ae]The Yankee Flyer-Reporting all Yankee Division News![/bd5bd2ae] [id5bd2ae]Boston's QB Situation-[/id5bd2ae] Starting QB Brett Caraba is without a contract, and the Bee's future at the position may still be in doubt even if the 15-year vet signs a deal with the team. You can bet that GM Cotton and Head Coach Dave Titone will be looking at young signal callers in this year's draft, something that C.J. Hicks will be relieved to see. [id5bd2ae]The Brawlers Desperate Need for Some Secondary Help-[/id5bd2ae] The Brawler's defense in 2025 was like some loopy roller coaster: up and down all year long, and at the end of the ride you felt nauseous. While they stifled the run (ranking 2nd in the league), they couldn't stop anyone through the air (ranking dead last with an awful 4645 yards allowed). A combination of a few aging players and a lack of talent in the backfield may have been the reason Brooklyn missed the playoffs. Arizona State's Stan Casillas and Cris Burgess sound like a formidable duo. [id5bd2ae]Defending Yankee Champ looks to stay pat-[/id5bd2ae] I don't see Hartford making any aggressive moves this offseason. They have 29 players under contract, and a modest $31 mil in cap to keep the core of the team together and add some young players in the draft. But still, they are the best team in the division until someone proves otherwise. [ud5bd2ae]Other Notes-[/ud5bd2ae] QB Wes Harden wants out of Hartford. "I know I can still start in this league, whether it's here or somewhere else I want to play". Harden was benched for Brian Bauer, who had 28 TD's last year. [id5bd2ae]The Phantoms Aggressive Offseason Approach-[/id5bd2ae] Failing to make the playoffs for the 4th straight season under Anthony Crenshaw, the Phantoms have contacted several teams regarding trade opportunities. "We're a good team, maybe a player or two away from being complete. Sometimes you have to take the TurfToe "balls to the wall" approach, especially if you want to compete in our division," Atlantic City GM Dag said at the combine. (other GM's an post news and other bits in here as well) |

Awesome write up, we should all start doing something similar, it would really boost the league's appeal. Good Job Rverdag! |

Truthfully, I took the idea of doing a write-up about my division from GM...I plan on doing write-ups post draft, preseason predictions, and weekly games. I have some spare time thanks to the new job ![]() |
