GG Fonzie. Your defense kept this game closer than it should have been based on the stats on paper.

Just watched the game myself. Our defense played out of their mind. The offense moved the ball well but two interceptions, a fumble and two missed field goals forced our defense to win the game. Takahashi was stellar as well in running the ball and keeping the ball away from Tucson.

The monkey is finally off the back as we finally get a title!

Congratulations, Shooter! Your D was indeed incredible today. You managed to sack Robbins 6 times, when he'd only been sacked 21 times all year. Our running game went nowhere, even when we had favorable matchups (e.g., running against pass aggressive defenses), which led us to be stunningly ineffective on 3rd down. Crazy.

It's frustrating to have your season end due to your worst offensive performance of the entire season, but there it is. And memo to Mr. Robbins: you're great and all, but you'll be competing with Mr. Paulk for your job next year. Good luck with that.

I will contend that a grat secondary is better than a great pass rushing defensive line from this point on. Our defense really was built around that secondary and I believe I learned a few things this year on the defensive game plan.
