Well Turf, that's what I call a Ass Kicking.. Did your qb have cement shoes on or something? 6 sacks, 5 hurries. But damn, Giles is a fricking Beast for ya... He was throwing around my Oline like ragdolls.. GG Turf, 33-17 |

We face Boston next week in a battle for the top spot in the conference. Both teams as similar in style and while bith teams are capable of putting up some big points, I see a defensive game that will be played out. It will be interesting to see if Rod Burton can handle C.J. Hicks. I have a feeling the winner f this game will be determined by who wins the turnover battle. |

Becker started and is our backup but he has an acceptable sense rush rating. We tried to focus on the run and deep passes. Over half of our passes were medium or long which may have played into it, although we were 4-of-6 on the real deep stuff. We used all 3 QB's for some reason and Moore is still nursing an injury in the #2 spot. It's too bad Becker got limited action as he was 8/11 even with those 6 sacks. Giles had a decent game but is capable of much more if we could get another solid DT. Our d-line is as bad as it has been in quite some time but he will be the cornerstone of the defensive rebuild. I figured we'd win maybe 4-6 games this year and we already have that. I also knew once Moore went down a few weeks ago our playoff run was likely over. It's all about playing time and draft position at this point. |

GG Tennessee. Terrible, just terrible. We give up a 22 play, 96-yard drive in the fourth quarter to lose 24-23. What most aggravates me were the four penalties on the drive. Ugh. |

So our defense played okay, but [b6195b93]the refs won the game[/b6195b93] for us. Hands down that was a "gift" game. So I guess I can't complain the next time when it goes the other way. |
