gg to you too, Smitty.

I think the final score is a bit deceptive. A more accurate score would be to say that Tucson won 2-0; that is, we hit the jackpot with two home-run type plays (Robbins and Welch connected on 72- and 80-yard TD plays). Welch is a "good enough" receiver, but he's not the focus of our passing game so I think we just plain got lucky with those. If not for those plays, this game looks entirely different.

Well, I guess coach Kemp's pre-game speach was a bit of a dog. He is after all only an average motivator. Which was a real shame, because the home crowd actually showed up in some respectable numbers for a change. Hope we didn't just lose 10,000 with that display.

Folk's, the score was not indicative of how soundly Denver beat us. We actually intercepted a ball in the end zone, blocked a FG, and had another Denver FG attempt miss. Hat's off to Denver..........Hope we don't play you again for 4 years.....

GG Honolulu.

Baltimore is issuing a refund to everyone who paid to watch that game. 12-6. No TDs. 4 missed FGs. The first 10 passes of the game were incomplete. It was a big missed opportunity for us with Omaha losing, too.

GG Shreveport.

We probably played our best half of football that first half. We got 16 first downs to Shreveport's 3 and led 21-0 at half. Cruised from there to a 28-14 victory.

Everybody (except Tulsa) in the WFC Cavarly division started winning. Denver, El Paso, and Fargo are 12-3 over the last five weeks. Most likely an elimination game upcoming vs Fargo this week.
