First, gg kosar. You've got a talented team there - congrats on a great season. Second, SOMEBODY GET ME A BRAIN TRANSPLANT, STAT! During Week 17 I benched Don Robbins and gave Eugene Paulk a start to avoid having the latter fall in to "demanding trade" territory. That worked out OK for us, but I completely forgot that he was still in the depth chart as a starter for today's game. The guy wound up getting his second career start in the divisional round of the playoffs. Fortunately he didn't completely suck (18/29, 215 yards, 3 sacks), but he didn't do a whole lot to help us win either. We were really, really lucky to get that early defensive TD, or this one probably ends up very differently. |

GG Shooter. Very strange game. We dominated the early part of the game, but 3 huge plays made the difference: kickoff return for a TD, 48 yard bomb for a TD and 77 yard TD run. All of the sudden we were down 21-20 even though we'd outgained you something like 250-60 without the 2 huge TD plays. You guys took over from that point and ran away in the 2nd half. Good luck the rest of the way. |

GG Santa Cruz. 4 ints would be tough for anyone to overcome. Not looking forward to taking on Tucson though. Beat them earlier in the season when I should have gotten creamed. Tucson in the Conference game? Ouch! GL Fonzie |

GG Tucson. You are king of the southwest. Once we fell behind, your team shut us down. Opening drive went 89 yards for a TD, we gained 83 yards the rest of the game. That fumble return for a TD seemed to swing the momentum. We won't mention that we got beat by a backup QB. |

My three-year quarterback controversy might have cost me a title defense, but I felt that Prescott gave me the best chance to beat Omaha (or S.A. for that matter). Prescott had the third highest passer rating in the league and is traditionally either red-hot and unbeatable or ice-cold. Versus Finley, who is more predictably fair to middling. Prescott was ice-cold, but I have to credit a lot of that to the ultra-stingy Omaha pass defense. I can't really second-guess myself too much, though I did at first. Prescott did move the ball fairly well at times, but the Bees could not overcome stupid mistakes on special teams, including two Omaha ArrowBurks punt return TDs. And very good coverage of Hicks. Outstanding. Losing TE Oburn to a broken leg hurt, too, specially since Prescott needs him to run his game plan and twin TE formations. Good game, Smitty! The better team won. The Bees will be back next season and may be even better, but I just didn't have the guns to defend the title this season. |

What a exciting game to watch. It had alittle of everything, 2 punt returns, the amazing CJ Hicks, and a whole lot of craziness.. G. Burks went crazy for 4 total td's.. He had a career day for sure.. Great Game Cotton, your team never gave up.. Next up is the Dangerous SA squad and their Killer D... |

The strength of the Bees defense is the corners and safeties and not my journeymen/rookie linebackers. Everything's underneath with the 'Heads and I need to strengthen that part of my defense this off-season. |

Good game man ... |
