This rule needs to go, I think. It's anti-parity. I think there's a good argument for letting it go. We need to have that discussion, but I'll admit it's a little late now.

CB Jermaine Chance probably had the best 2.3 season span of any CB in league history and definitely the best rookie and soph seasons of a CFL CB ever. The Baltimore front office recently learned that the knee injury last year was as devastating as possible, and Chance skills have now reduced to backup material at best. Here are the numbers for his 37 games in the CFL:

18 INTs, 5 INTs returned for TD, 38 passes defended, 86.5 PDpct
1st team all pro - 2027 and 2028
DROY - 2027

As of right now he is 2nd all time in PDpct among qualifiers.

Who'd a thunk it? Kent Goodwin in the Hall of Fame? The surprises never cease.

I love the rule. Why would a team not get first shot at their own coaches. This is a flaw in the game and i think a terrific rule. A coach should always have a shot at staying with his same team first before getting beat down with offers from other squads

I loved this rule at first in a couple of my other leagues. However, the longer I play this game, the more I realize, coaches have virtually no impact on the game.
