An "easy" guessing game for everyone. Which Punter below was a 6th round pick and which one was an undrafted F/A?

Punter #1 - 42/57
Punter #2 - 23/33

Crazy! Normally, I don't draft punters or kickers but took a flier this year. I will never draft a punter or kicker ever again!!!

BTW: Is it just me or is the cost of undrafted F/A's getting higher and higher each season? Owners are opening up their checkbooks...

Rick

Owners have too much money so they might has well throw out a few million on URFAs. Ultimately, it's a flaw in the game - renegotiation requests aren't high enough and hold outs are too infrequent.

The best solution to make FA more reasonable is artificially reducing cap space by 10 - 30%.

A word of caution on getting excited about undrafted free agents. The bars you see now are the same ones visible during the draft. It's best to check the draft analyzer to see what the combine numbers predict for those bars. Traing camp is a cruel bitch mother.

The thing about the salary cap is that it is relative, everyone has the same ability to afford whatever players are available. That's key to a market. Whether a FA DT goes for $110m for 5 years in FA or $75m for the same duration under a reduced cap scenario, the fact that everyone is on a level playing field is what matters to the integrity of FA.
