The Militia did dominate this crucial game. We basically had our division champion hats and T-shirts on before the final insult of this game happened.
The Pride's kicker, who has a 24 kick power rating, boots a miracle 55 yard field goal with 10 seconds left, in 32 degree weather, to win the game, after we just drove to take the lead with 58 seconds left....
This followed an earlier kick return for a TD by the Pride and a missed FG by the Militia because of a bad snap......A Bad Snap!! My 3rd center that I keep on the roster only to snap the damn ball - 98 rated longsnapper - puts one in the dirt, and my kicker porks it right into some Norweigen guy...
4-6-SHR25 (4Q: 12:04) Harvey Hudson attempted a 42 yard field goal and it was blocked by Falcon Van Valkenberg. SHR Gilbert Aldridge recovered the ball at the SHR40 and returned it 11 yards. You can blame the block on a bad snap from center.
Later we are 4th and 1 at the Pride 40 Yard Line down by 1 and we P...P...Punt?? With
GODfrey in the backfield....AAAAaaargh...
