something i don't understand is why a midweek after the opening week ? I mean before it would make sense but after ??? |

Because of the cut down of the roster.

Because alot of owners still have 60 players on their roster. This gives us full reign on the free agents so everyone has a chance to sign them and not worry about making a roster spot for them.
