Well, the fire sale is temporarily off in Tenessee but we aren't real full of optomism either...We played well against a St. Louis team that I believe has it's top two QB's injured........Hey...take the breaks when you can get them.......but we managed to lose our starting MLB for a while with a pulled muscle.....Our training staff is about to be canned. Cole played well, Godfrey played well, the OL looked good again... We will see what happens against San Antonio. It's a must win for the Militia. We follow that game up with probable losses to Durham and Baltimore. Then a break.......... Yikes. |

Lackluster stats against Iowa (except for Tarzan and on the scoreboard), but the game never looked to be in doubt. Gietka failed to complete 50% of his passes for only the second time in his career. And in the ridiculous stats department - after 4 games, Tarzan has tied his career high in touchdowns for a season with 12! |

GG, Shooter, last year you won a 13-6 defensive struggle, but we got our revenge today with a 46-28 shootout victory. Our offense put up their best performance in a long time which leaves us feeling good for the holidays. 46 points was our 3rd highest total ever and most since 2027, and our 547 yards of total offense was our 2nd highest total ever and most since 2009! We didn't punt the ball at all, and had two 100+ yard rushers including rookie 4th round pick RB David Browning in his first game in the active lineup going 12-123 with 2 TDs. Then on the defensive side we held San Antonio to 10 yards rushing which is a new team record. Bring on Baltimore, our nemesis from last year... |
