Oregon At El Paso
Point Spread = Oregon by 1
Key Players;
Oregon = Rico Lynn QB, Floyd Pfeiffer LDT
El Paso = Abercrombie TE, Troy Beauchamp WLB

Smitty's Prediction = El Paso 24, Oregon 21
El paso's Defense will stop Oregon's passing attack and hold them off for a 3 point win.

Baltimore At Shreveport
Point Spread = Baltimore by 4
Key Players;
Baltimore = Skip Upshaw FL, Heath Clayton SLB
Shreveport = Wally "Deep" Wooden SE, Leland Wellins LDE

Smitty's Prediction = Baltimore 17, Shreveport 28
Marcus Bennett QB has struggled against Baltimore in the past with Omaha but with his new team, I believe he will finally defeat them with an easy win at home. Wooden is just too damn good.

Tulsa At Tucson
Point Spread = Tulsa by 3
Key Players;
Tulsa = J.B. Lynch QB, Joey Stephenson SS
Tucson = Eugene Paulk QB, Perry Hopper MLB

Smitty's Prediction = Tucson 35, Tulsa 28
Tucson had a down regular season (9-7) but they are masters in the playoff's (.696 % wins). Tucson will hold off Tulsa with a late TD pass from Paulk to Brost to secure the win.

Brooklyn At Durham
Point Spread = Durham by 3
Key Players;
Brooklyn = Herman Garrity QB, Randall Gooden SLB
Durham = Wayne Lett SE, Charles Shepard MLB (DUH)

Smitty's Prediction = Brooklyn 17, Durham 16
These teams are evenly matched so it's going to be a hard fought game. Shepard gets an early safety on Garrity and it appears Durhams going to cruise but in true Brooklyn fashion, they come back and win with a late FG.

4 good games - all could go either way. I'm hoping to prove you wrong, JJ, but I just don't have a good feeling about this game against Brooklyn.
