Doug's All League Mid-season Awards QB- Brandon Lin, Boise City RB- Arthur Brady, Chicago FB- Jeffery Earp, Memphis TE- Dane McCrae, Memphis WR- Coleman Parr, New York WR- Brian Lore, Sacramento C- Daniel Burress, Chicago G- Hunter James, Durham G- Ross Tessier, Boston T- Thomas Perez, Tucson T- Larry Cawley, Baltimore P- Jonathan Grays, Memphis K- Rubin Castorena, Tucson DE- Casey Bousquet, Anchorage DE- Fredric Diggs, Chicago DT- Alexander Mosely, Hartford DT- David Specht, Baltimore MLB- Tony Lasalle, San Antonio MLB- Grant Wash, Tucson OLB- Alfonzo Levine, Cleveland OLB- James Gregor, Shreveport CB- Craig Jiles, Arizona CB- Chris Wilber, Baltimore S- David Visser, Santa Cruz S- Michael Dustin, Detroit ST- Carl Schwartz, Long Beach CFL MVP QB Brett Hedges, Santa Cruz Hedges leads the CFL in QB rating with a rating of 113.2. Hedges has also lead the Privateers to a 6-1 record. Santa Cruz is 3rd in the CFL with 173 points scored. Offensive Rookie of the Year WR Leroy O'Neal, Honolulu O'Neal was lucky to be drafted by one of the highest scoring teams in the league, and one of the best QB's in Ronnie Tu. O'Neal has caught over 400 yards and has 3 TDs. He was drafted 19th overall. Defensive Rookie of the Year DT Jerald Barber, Shreveport There is no question Barber is on his way to winning defensive rookie of the year. Barber leads all DTs with 41 solo tackles. Barber was the # 1 pick in the draft when Seattle traded out of the # 1 spot, and gave the pick to Shreveport. |

Good choices, I agree on almost every player - but T Larry Cawley is with Baltimore, not Boise... |

This just shows that the Rockets are playing team ball with no one individual standing out. Well, that or we're getting freakin' lucky since all our playes suck... |

Good pick on G Hunter Jaimes. Now that he has recovered from his concussion from a few weeks ago he can get back to opening up holes for Stephen Metz (8th in the league in rushing). |
