Post subject:  FFF Team Rankings -

Hello folks, here are your last FFF team rankings for this regular season 2005.

To no-one's surprise, the best team in the regular season, ie the #1 ranked team, is clearly Honolulu and they will surely be the team to beat on the road to CFL Bowl III. Honolulu was never ranked any lower than 3rd this season and were ranked #1 7 out 14 weeks. Congrats to the Blue Pacific!

At the other end of the spectrum, the Goat of the Year award goes to Seattle, finishing 2-14 for a #32 ranking. The ThunderBirds were never able to reach better than #26 and were ranked dead last 8 weeks out of 14.

Without further ado, here are your rankings:

dola - I played around with the idea of giving bonus points to playoff teams but finally decided against it. These rankings are for the regular season only and after all, it's not necessarily the best 12 teams that make the playoffs. It's only a matter of being in the right place at the right time...(case in point, Frogman whose team Sacramento failed to reach the playoffs despite a 10-6 record and being ranked #9, will have to watch the playoffs on TV in lovely Quebec...)

Final division rankings:

Atlantic: 86 pts
Ring of Cold: 60 pts
Ring of Fire: 45 pts
Yankee: -14 pts
Great Lakes: -20 pts
San Andreas: -23 pts
Cavalry: -68 pts
Deep South: -69 pts

The Atlantic division thus confirms its reputation as the toughest division in the CFL.

Yay, the Cavalry (barely) didn't finish as the worst division!

Man, dropping me three spots for not playing my starters. How weak...
