This is a roll call thread- I will give everyone plenty of time to post since it is the holidays. Also, do you have any ideas for I can do / what can be done, to make the league better?

Teams heard from:
Tulsa
El Paso
Hawaii
Detroit
Tucson
Boston
Cleveland
Durham
Shreveport
Arizona
Baltimore
Tampa Bay
New York
Santa Cruz
Long Beach
Fargo
Memphis
Anchorage
Denver
Chicago
Charleston
Seattle
Hartford
Atlantic City
Sacramento
Albany
New Orleans
Las Vegas
Portland
San Antonio
Boise

Open:
Hunnington Beach

I know some of those teams have active owners, i'm pretty sure most do- and those are just on vacation or something right now, so I am still going to give plenty of time to those to get back and check in.

Ideas:

Upload utility
Draft utility
Free draft picks for teams named the Rockets

Vampires obviously here.

As far as making the league better, an upload util would indeed be cool.

Most importantly, the coming offseason will be critical, last season offseason's was a disaster for most owners and we can't afford to repeat this.

This is probably the area where we need to focus our efforts right now.

I agree with the above - export utility, draft utility, and a reasonably paced offseason are all very important.

Also, I'd recommend taking all draft picks from teams named "Rockets" and giving them to any team named "Toros." :D

Boston reporting (I'm back from being off-line).

I concur with what people have said about priorities. Here's how I'd rank them:

1. Draft Utility (this is critical, even to the point where if we need to take a break to give the folks in charge the time to sort this out, then we should do so)

2. Export Utility

I'm still around, but won't be able to check in regularly until at least February. Thank you, GE and Doug, for running the show for the time being.

As far as the utilities go, VPI97 was close to getting the upload utility working and he also offered to set up a draft utility for us. He said that he is quicker at setting up the draft utility. If someone could check with him as to a status then hopefully he can finish up the job in time.

Congrats, MrBug, on your CFL Bowl win! For those still interested, Detroit was the team that won the CFL Bowl in my quick-sim way back when I needed to test out the stability of our league file.

Happy holidays, everyone!

Put constitution into effect (if we haven't already).

Has anyone gotten in touch with VPI yet about the draft and upload utilites? If not I'll send a PM his way at FOFC or the HFL board...

dola- one improvement that needs to be done quickly and should be fairly easy (?) is to put back all the right logos on our home page and HTML exports...

If Doug or GE could do that...

Right now, it sucks with the FOF default logos... :(

This was a few weeks ago, so I am not sure what the status with all that is at right now.

As for the HTML with logos and all, I can't do that right now- and I'm really not sure how to, but once we get sims going I will have that figured out and get that done.
