Feels good to get that first win against Las Vegas in 3 seasons.

We gave Terhorst and a couple OL dudes the week off againstEl Paso.

The ground game still got it done with over 200 yards and 48 attempts. In the air we were a bit inefficient includng 0/4 on 3rd down and threw a pick but former 1st round possession receiver Reedy had a nice game and our K added 4 FGs. Our PR started out well this season but now has 3 fumbles on 21 returns and after losing back to back playoff games due to fumbled PRs we may have to make a change.

Our D may have bailed us out evening up the TO margin and leaving El Paso toothless with a great pass rush.

WR Ferguson is also dinged up now (top 3 pass targets are now out) and our stud C is out for a few weeks. Tough timing here with 2 very tough games coming up and we'd like to chase the 2 seed but might have to play it safe and feel good about getting the 3 or 4 with more health.

GG Death Valley

Man, tough win for us. Defense kept us in the game only allowing 6 points. We were able to get a field goal of our own to make it 6-3, and then we mounted a huge 14 play 92 yard touchdown drive to get the win. Death Valley had a huge unnecessary roughness call on that drive to help us out.

Our waiver wire QB continues to struggle. He completed just 50% of his passes for 133 yards for 0 TDs and 1 INT. Teams realize this and have really focused on our run game. We're still having some success on the ground, but were well under 4 yards per carry on the game, when we were pushing 5 earlier in the year when our main QB was healthy. I still can't get over how great our defense has performed. Week after week they are giving us a chance to win.

We're 6-4 and still in the hunt for a wildcard spot. Grinding out tough wins like this is huge

Yep, looks like the start of a late season slide for Vegas.

Recap of Week 10 and 11

Huge wins against Divisional opponents LA and LV.

Against Los Angeles our team was dominating all day long scoring the first 22 points. LA finally scored 2 TDs in the 4th, but it was too little too late and they ran out of time. Big win that we needed to keep from the bottom of the division. 1-2 in Division after this win. Bad news was that our Star LT Ansell was hurt for 3 weeks.

Against Vegas we finally got the bug off of our backs after losing to them 7 times in a row, our first win against them since 2046. Since I took over we've been 1-5 against them. This win was even more impressive because I didn't have my star LT Ansell, LT Moniz filled in admirably and didn't give up any sacks.

The offenses played well in the 1st half, scoring 38 points combined. Honolulu was almost unstoppable in the 1st half scoring 24 points, 3 tds and 1 FG with only 1 punt. Vegas had a good 1st half with 14 points scored but their offense could do no good in the 2nd half and punted 4 times and turned it over on downs twice at the end.

I *almost* felt bad for Las Vegas, Cooper Allen threw to Stan Wilt 3 times into double coverage and completed all 3 throws, one for a TD. I'm not sure how you stop that. Cooper Allen had one of his best games all season en route to Offensive Player of the Week.

Biggest win of the season so far against Vegas, and the division title is in our sights. Our schedule gets easy towards the end of the season with 5 of our last 6 games against teams currently under .500.
Boston and Boise City are up next this week. Boston is a garbage offense and their D isn't much better. I would be shocked if we lost this game, I expect a win for sure. Boise City has a slightly better offense than Boston, but also has the worst points defense at the moment. This is another mismatch game I expect to win.

We should be 9-3 at this time Thursday.

We keep on trucking. If we can stave off injuries we are lining up a playoff spot early.
