At Brooklyn..
Now this was a football game. We ran and scrambled our way to an opening TD. And then there wer 8 consecutive punts. BKY moved it a bit but never got into even FG range. They added a FG during a nice 2 minute drill though to take us to the half.
4 more punts and BKn coughed it up on their side of hte field but we threw a pick so couldn't extend the lead. BKN drove for another FG after the pressure contiued ot get them once they got across midfield. And a bad snap caused them to miss their chance at the lead o their next drive.
So yup, an opening drive TD for us and that was it for our O. In fact we only managed 6 more 1sts the entire game. But we had another 5 sack performance from our DL and our punter had consecutive punts inide the 5 during the endgame.
GG Ushikawa,
It was a defensive battle. One major difference was the pressure on the QB. Five sacks for Fargo and zero for Brooklyn. Also missing the field goal from the most over-paid kicker ever really hurt, but it was a bad hold. Good luck in the next three games. You have put together a nice little win streak.
Offense troubles were expected with a QB that we just picked up this week, but wanted to rest my starter for a week with his injury. The starter's injury condition went from "Questionable" to "Probable". With the playoffs in the balance, he will have to start next week.
Now it's time for the three road games. Good luck to Boston, Miami and Atlantic City,
Dean Gullberry
