I'll give you alliteration, but I think you're stretching it on the onomatopoeia.

First it was a hiring of a new GM for was the San Antonio Armadillos. When GM Shooter signed up for the job he started a new initiative by re-branding the team the Stingers. This is what the new GM had to say at the press conference. "This is a football team. What the F--- does an Armadillo have to do with football? Now I know Stingers doesn't exactly fit that description either, but at least it has that alliteration and onomatopoeia thing going for it. |

I'll give you alliteration credit but onomatopoeia? No. Then again, I've never been stung by a scorpion. If anyone has, can they verify whether they heard "stinger" or "sting" when the sting occurred? Otherwise, great article. EDIT: Hey Hawk, jinx - buy me a coke.
