and GM makes his move...

Time for Fargo to make their pick...

FYI: Once that is made, I will not be able to make a pick immediately.. I am awaiting to see how the picks go to see who is interested in the 1.5 to see if i'm going to trade it or use it.. several folks wanted to see who went 3 and 4 first...

If I were Van Eck I would hold out and never play for Atlantic City. They done dissed him. Called him a midget and selected him with a :( look.

I swear that Mike was just postering and wanting to go after either G Wells or Battle which are tough to tell apart.

Alright..

For all of those that wanted to 'wait and see on 3 and 4'... now's your chance...

I don't want to hold the show up too much... I am leaving work in about 5 minutes, and will be home in an hour and a half or so... I'll check out what I have then... I have to give my g/f a jump start too, so that will take some time...

anyway, i'd rather not drag this into tomorrow...

I need an inuendo proof reader....

be back in awhile goes, already got one serious offer and I expect more...

And all of this will be weighed against whether I'd rather make the pick than take one of the trade offers...

I have to admit that pick shocked me. In his defense, it IS the best safety available and there's a pretty steep drop-off to the next one. Plus Campo's volatility is 10 so he's almost guaranteed to be good.

Maybe I'm just a rambling moron.

Sorry...felt left out of the conversation. :)

Those were pretty much my thoughts. Key to a great defense is your safeties.

Almost.

Key to a great defense is well-paid snipers in the stands.

Second place is good safeties. :)

I've seen numerous teams in other leagues win championships with 40 & 50 rated CBs and highly rated safeties.

Trying to keep you guys up to date because I know that 'not knowing' is the worst part...

Things really heated up when the S went at 1.4 and the owners i'm negotiating with have odd schedule situations...

My understanding is the clock will not be turned on until 8 am tomorrow? I don't intend to abuse that, but...

The clock will not be turned on until 7:30pm EDT tomorrow (Wednesday)...24 hours after the utility is available - this gives everyone a chance to get a preference list in before they go on the clock.
