At least my team is consistent...

Score a touchdown. Allow about 35 points. Lose 2-3 turnovers.

Gonna be a long season. :)

A good day running the ball which was what I was keying in to do this game. Lost some guys to injury, but depth at DT and WR is coming in real handy now.

A big injury this week on our arch rival. :D

Jerald Barber appears done for the year. I feel bad about that, really, I do. :P

Three young Bulldogs pick off passes by legend "Jackpot" Olsen. We rule the preseason!

I really hope I find some time to test what I want to do in SP because I just can't get a gauge for it here in the pre-season.

Pretty sloppy game in Chicago, but rookie WR Damon Bates had another great day. He caught 5 for 130 yards and 2 TDs. Hopefully he keeps coming along and can prevent teams from trying to double cover Ernie Cooley this year.

Bah- Torn wrist tendon, Muddy Waters is out 6 weeks. Hopefully he can make it back a little early, we're not off to a good start this year.

Looks like it's time for the Butch and Floyd show to begin. Barber wasn't going to be around much longer anyhow with the youth movement in Shreveport. We'll see what happens . . .

Oh yeah and

I couldn't care less how (poorly) Your Beloved Toros are performing in exhibition games. For me the preseason is more about rust-removal and injury-avoidance than anything else, so I'm happy that we've only sustained two minor injuries.
