Wow.. incredible game with Denver...

Something tells me that later in the year I'm going to REALLY want this OT Loss back.

It's games like this that give me false hope. Watch us lay an egg next week against San Antonio.

My young Tigers get a rare road win at Huntington Beach. Hopefully we'll get a handle on the fumbles, two are too many in my book, but we dominated the clock and stopped their running game.

Tigers are now at .500

GG HB Capitalists...

We win the game against the defending champs, New Orleans, but it's a sad day in AZ.

It appears that the career of [player]Freddie Mathias[/player] is over. He has had a very rough season and has 0 TDs and 6 INTs in 2 games. It was discovered after the game by the trainers and the offensive coordinator that he has an issue with his vision that he was hiding. He simply wanted to play out his last year, but it is not to be. He is holding out hope that he'll be able to come back later in the season, but for the immediate future, rookie [player]C.J. Santoki[/player] will be inserted as the starter.

Good grief we're pathetic. I'll blame the AI for this one as I forgot to submit my file.

Congrats on the win, TT. Unfortunately I'm going through the pains of starting a rookie QB. [player]Carl Bradford[/player] has not done too well yet. I may need to change my game plan up for him a little. It seems that he's having trouble in the Short Passing offense that I have in place, which would make sense, since he's a roll-out QB.

Anchorage sucks. Don't assume you're the '72 Dolphins just yet. :)

Congrats on the win, TLK!

Another great win for Boise. I'm actually a little surprised that we've played quite this well the first couple of weeks. We dominated Detroit statistically, winning the yardage battle 476-239. The Vampires made a little run at the end of the first half, cutting a 21-0 lead to 21-14 in a span of 2:01, but we got back on track in the second half and put it away.

gg shooter! Your boys played quite well, and the short passing gameplan gold mine you've hit on is working wonders with your young QB Sheen. He looks to have a bright future in your hands.

This was a tight game, despite the 10-point margin of victory. We trailed 14-10 at halftime and 21-10 midway through the third, but then [player]Kent Goodwin[/player] started to work a bit of his magic to right our sinking ship. We didn't take the lead until it was 24-21 with 6:01 in the 4th, and it didn't last long. San Antonio answered right back to make the score 28-24 with 2:27 to play. Goodwin then marched us down the field (converting a 4th down in the process) to score with :55 left to play. Unfortunately, that TD was called back on an offensive holding penalty, which put us at a 3rd and 15 at their 21. What does Goodwin do then? BOMBS AWAY - 21 yard TD pass to [player]Freddie Housley[/player] with :45 to play.

We then got a late INT return for a touchdown that made the score more lopsided than was true of the game. That was a truly great game to watch.

This was the most frustrating game I ever watched. We has Tucson dead to rights a few times and looked to be driving to seal the deal a few times only to have penalties kill us. Then to watch Goodwin go down the field and give up a run on 3-16 for 19 yards was devastating.

On the bright side, our game plan is coming along nicely and Sheen has over a 80% completion percentage on the year and Roy Jones looks to be building on his rookie campaign.

GG Fonzie.

Only n Shreveport is it 80 degrees, stormy, with a 58 mph wind!

I wouldn't even have checked except for an amazing 75 yard punt as the long for Shreveport's [player]Larry Poole[/player]. Amazingly, there was only one INT the whole game. I wish I would've paid more attention to the forecast as I wouldn't have thrown 32 times in such breezy conditions. It also excuses the kickers for a miss each. My favorite had to be:

3-4-SHR47 (2Q: 12:19) Roderick Palmer pass fell incomplete, intended for WR Tommy Wolfe. [b2bba79d]CB Chris Groom knocked the ball out of his grasp. The wind blew that pass off course[/b2bba79d]. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

The pass was blown so far off course that it had to be knocked from his grasp with a defensive play good enough to mention. There were also passes blown off course by the wind that were blocked at the line.

GG Hawk, it was fun but time to get the hell outta Shreveport and away from the filth-eating hayseeds.

It looks like a demonstration of what 80% completion rates are good for if they don't involve much distance.

By George, I think he's got it!

Roderick "Hardcore" Palmer

That would include a 93.8 passer rating in a hurricane...

Good Game CC. I have not had time to watch the game yet to figure out what went wrong yet, but we had a 3:1 pass to rush ratio. That sucks, especially when you we were averaging 4.75 yds per carry. Combine that with 4 turnovers (3 int) and the game got ugly from our standpoint.

We are still healthy so I think we can fix these problems by next week.

[quote54f851a="TurfToe"][quote54f851a="Fonzie"][quote54f851a="TurfToe"]Only n Shreveport is it 80 degrees, stormy, with a 58 mph wind!

[b54f851a]CB Chris Groom knocked the ball out of his grasp. The wind blew that pass off course[/b54f851a]. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

The pass was blown so far off course that it had to be knocked from his grasp with a defensive play good enough to mention. There were also passes blown off course by the wind that were blocked at the line.

GG Hawk, it was fun but time to get the hell outta Shreveport and away from the filth-eating hayseeds.[/quote54f851a]

You guys played in a hurricane? And completed over half of your passes?

That's hardcore.[/quote54f851a]

By George, I think he's got it!

Roderick "Hardcore" Palmer

That would include a 93.8 passer rating in a hurricane...[/quote54f851a]

Then would one figure that we've also got:

Carl "Softcore" Bradford

Since he completed only 37.5% of his passes in the Hurricane.

Bow-chicka-bah-wah . . .

I was thinking Carl "Blow Job" Bradford, myself, but "Softcore" also works for me. ;)

[quote71cecc5="Doug5984"]Lowe got the best of his old team...[/quote71cecc5]

He's finally shaking the rust off and performing like I always thought he would. GG Doug, Lowe and Chasser were just to much for your D.. BTW, why was Angie taken out of the game, he was producing..
